Okay, I am giving 5 stars even though my experience is limited. I went here to meet with a friend/business associate to taste wines. That was the main mission. All were on the "by the glass" menu at Pino's Place. So my experience with the wine list is pretty good. Excellent value wines. Great quality at the price point. Better than average especially since many of the places you would expect to be serving you quality wine, aren't. (Advice for everyone: If you don't see the name or brand of the wine on the menu, don't order it. Move on to something you can at least look up on your phone.)
Back to Pino's Place. The visit was over lunch. I shared a tossed salad and I don't know what the dressing was, but it was fresh and crisp and the dressing was really good. I don't know if it was home made or not. It was good.
The pizza we got was delicious. We got the Diavola and shared it. It was like getting a pizza in Italy or at an Italian Restaurant in other European countries. Thin crust and not like eating a Stateside stomach bomb pizza. And again, it was delicious.
I didn't pay the bill but I do remember glancing at the prices and thinking they were quite reasonable.
The staff was attentive, polite and good natured. I saw nothing to criticize by the service. Would rate it above average. The atmosphere was very comfortable and pleasant.
I don't live in Denver but when I am back up there now and then, this place will come to mind as a great place to get a meal. Maybe I will try something else...

Today I ordered the Burrata salad 🥗 and it was soooo good I ordered a second one!
The food? Out of this world 🌎 We started with the cheesy garlic bread, and let me tell you, it was so hearty and delicious, best everrr!! It set the tone for the rest of the meal. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors, rich, cheesy goodness, and so appetizing that we scraped our plates clean—no leftovers needed because everything was just that good. Special shoutout to the bartender, who gave us a personalized wine-tasting experience, letting us sample several wines before we fell in love with a Chilean bottle we just had to buy. We ended up finishing the entire bottle right there
The ambiance was spot-on, with the perfect Italian music playing in the background, which really enhanced the experience (thankfully no annoying pop music here). The staff was attentive without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed, authentic Italian vibe that’s hard to describe but so memorable.
Pino’s Place also has a fantastic happy hour from 3-6 pm daily and discounted wine bottles on Sundays—so you know I’ll be back soon, probably within the week! I can’t wait to dive into more of their menu, especially the pizza. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for incredible food, great wine, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Five stars...
Read moreFirst time, we stopped in for lunch on a Monday, two weeks ago. The owner greeted us. Immediately, we knew we had made a great choice. He had a great smile on his face and in his voice. The venue is a small, perfectly balanced and organized space. The Della casa was far better than the price point with all kinds of veggies and a beautiful presentation. Our server recommended we split a calzone. We’re big guys, so kinda concerned…. She was correct. Besides that, it was excellent. The crispy/chewy crust was clearly an in house dough. Plenty of fillings and a great red sauce to dip into. We enjoyed this so much, we duplicated our order last Monday. Just as excellent! The very best part of the entire experience was our server. I just blanked her name; ouch! Anyway, she’s a lovely young brunette with a charm and kindness that made us feel special. Her recommendations were perfect for us. Because it’s an open kitchen, we could see the interactions between her and the men cooking. So courteous and professional. Cudos to the owner for developing such a superb...
