Bojangles — Restaurant in Cherryville

I went to get lunch today with my uncle. The girl behind the counter was so rude. She came and started taking my order, I turned to ask my uncle what he wanted to drink and she walked away, just completely stopped taking my order. Then she started complaining saying "I wish these people would stop ordering chicken, we don't have all the chicken". That's weird because you are working in a restaurant known for chicken. She sent someone else to take my order. The other girl was super nice but I asked if they still had the dirty rice bowl. The lady taking my order said "no I'm sorry" and I said "that's fine" and was about to order what I wanted instead but was interrupted by the first girl screaming "NO!" in a rude tone. She then came over and tried to explain how they could make it and charge me separately for each item but I was already so upset at the way she kept being rude. So I gave the cups back and said "I was fine with the other girl telling me it was no longer available, I already knew what I would order instead. But I think I will just go to a different Bojangles instead because I don't like being screamed no at." I called and spoke to the manager but she didn't seem very concerned about how customers are being treated, so I'm putting this review here in hopes that the district manager or corporate will see. I went to Shelby and the service and food were excellent. I get that fast food jobs can be stressful, I've worked them before but the number one rule should always be "be nice to the customers"because without them, you...

Drive thru staff said the f and s words. Asked for a manger. She pulled the lady she was speaking to over to the window. Explained how that was unprofessional and I could have had my two year old in the car. Manager said, we didn’t know their was a car there. Um so that makes it ok, you can’t see my huge SUV and weren’t y’all working on my order?? Gave it one more chance but this time went in. Dude yelled the d word while walking up front from the back. This time though, had my kid. The man saw us and didn’t apologize or anything; didn’t even bother to look embarrassed. Why talk with the manager when she lets her staff cuss at her directly? Was telling some ladies about this. Apparently it has happened to all of them and they have banned this location. Unless you’re cool with a bar...

This location is just off their game bad as of lately. They often do not have ingredients for you to order what you’d like. They also get the order incorrect. For example, they gave me the wrong drink twice over the past two visits. They also are incredibly sloppy when putting the food in the bag. My fries today were also room temperature because of this with them spilled all over in the bag.

This was my third time giving them a chance and it’s just been disappointing each time. I’d recommend going to McDonalds up the street instead. Bojangles food/service at this location...
