Pot pies are currently on special. Stopped in to order one of these and the 2 piece dark meat combo for $6. I was told they were out of fries and had to choose another side. While my payment was processing they said did not have extra crispy thighs. Without even asking me the cashier told them to mix it original & crispy. I was ok with that but would like to have been asked. A gentleman told the cashier they were out of Dr. Pepper and the response was "yeah, I know". There were only 3 lids for drink cups available and they were all dirty. Then I was told that no pot pies were ready and we're not even in the oven yet. I told them I would wait the 25 minutes. They still needed crusts applied. I asked if they would have extra crispy ready by then. I was asked if I would take a breast & wing instead. I said, no I want the leg & thigh. At 5pm there should not be a debate on whether to drop more chicken to cook or not.
Someone's very young children, maybe 3-4 years old (guessing it is an employee) keep coming in and asking for food, which they are very promptly given (for no $).
I've had horrible service here before but hoped they had improved. They continue to prove me wrong. I'll learn my lesson and go to the one closer to work instead of closer to home. I'd rather have to warm my food up after a 30 minute drive than get this type of service. It would be different if they were apologetic or seemed to care but there is more discussion and effort on how to avoid servicing the customer or doing their job. I understand they don't want to waste food but you're losing more money by losing customers than on a few pieces of chicken going over time. They're going to use it to make more pot pies (if they remember to cook them) anyway.
Had to come back and edit that they only put 4 pot pies in to cook and they've already sold those but don't seem to have any intention of...
Read moreWhat can I say about a place that has a sign on the door and drive up window asking you to be nice to the staff because they are over worked. First I would say "stop over working them and compensate them better for the sub par work conditions. Next I would say before making excuses for your staff and blaming your paying customers for your poor training techniques and employee moral. Maybe if you can start with some basics like maybe greating the customer with a smile and acknowledgement they exist. So I'm really going to go out on a limb here and suggest that maybe double checking the bag they hand to the customer and make sure it's all there. Like the dipping sauce I never get nor do I realize it until I'm 10 minutes away at home trying to eat not go back out. After waiting what seems a long time for what was ordered. I don't mind waiting for my food but if I'm going to wait then it should not be missing items, nor should it be cold or over cooked. Apparently though KFC decided it was my lucky day and I deserved the trifecta!. All while watching people looking like they were ready for a nap and had nothing...
Read moreThe last three times we have been there they have said 20 minutes to get an apple pie so we say just take that off the order. Last time got the meal that comes with wings and nuggets was ask to pull up and waited 21 minutes to have our food brought to the car. Got home and they didn’t even put the nuggets in the bag. The young little girl that runs the window is nice however she looks scared to death due to two older ladies in the back yelling what they don’t have or are not cooking. This store needs some restructuring. If all your apple pies are still in the freezer it’s due to the cooks won’t cook them not because folks aren’t asking for them. Tonight we got home and the slaw was missing. We won’t be back! As my Pappaw use to call it Colonel Sanders well Mr Sanders would be disappointed that folks just don’t care to keep what he worked so hard to build. Exceed the customer’s expectations is rare now. If they even tell you thank you and have a good night you are...
