Papa's Pizza To Go — Restaurant in Cherryville

Horrible service & disgusting food! I’ve been ordering from Papa’s pizza in cherryville NC for many years. I will NEVER order from this establishment again. The inside of the restaurant was filthy & Employees were very rude. I also noticed the employees allowing multiple customers to walk behind the service counter & into kitchen area while I waited more than twice the amount of time I was told for my order to be ready. After waiting more than double the time I was still only given part of the order that I paid for but didn’t notice until I arrived home with my family’s food because of how dumbfounded I was about the poor service inside the establishment. My family and I each took one bite of the pizza and all agreed it tasted funky almost like some ingredients were spoiled but were used anyway. We called the establishment to let them know they didn’t give me the entire order and that the pizza tasted like it had something wrong with it. I was told on the phone by the manager that they would send a delivery driver with the rest of the order. Nobody ever showed up so we called again to get a refund and they refused to refund anything other than what they didn’t bring after they said they would. So essentially they wasted over a hour of my time and I had to throw over $50 worth of overpriced & inedible food in my garbage can not counting the food I paid for that never showed up. I genuinely hope they aren’t routinely serving spoiled food to honest...

Our family has been going to eat pizza here since they first opened around the early 1990's. I've seen them grow from a small place to the establishment they are now. The food and pizza is always great and the owners are super people. Best pizza in town ! We miss the buffet since the pandemic happened but it is one of the few places we will get food from. Great restaurant and staff is always friendly and welcoming. Thank you for all the years of great pizza.

I have an update for the new owners management. Love the food its the best place for fast food pizza. However I have not been to the buffet since they only have it on wed and sun till the other day. For the price you pay there should be more pizza out. In defense of your employees there was only one person making the pizzas as hard as he could but come on all you can eat not hardly. We had them make one we wanted and it was incorrect we ordered thin crust and it was regular crust which I can not eat. Food is always good when we order and pick up but I would not recommend the buffet. It used to be good with the other owners they worked hard keeping...

It was absolutely horrible! There was no food out on buffet. The salad bar was out of onions,ranch, and crackers. The 3 pizzas they had out were not fresh and looked to have been sitting a while. There were no potatoes or calzones and all this is supposed to be included. You can order a special pizza which I did and I was never told when it was put out. I had to ask for several items several times. The restaurant was disgusting! Rhere were napkins scattered all over the restaurant! The employees were goofing off abd one girl stayed in the phone just about the whole time. There were 6 employees there that night and none of them were friendly. There apperance was not what you want to see if employees working around food. No one smiled or asked how we were. And when we left no one said have a good night or thanks for coming or even bye for that matter. We will not be going back if somethong isn't done about these issues. I even had to pick up 10 or more napkins just because I couldn't stand...
