I was eating lunch with my coworkers and one of them got a chicken tenders salad and took a bite and ended up with something being so hard it cut the roof of her mouth open to the point that it drew blood ...... With me already being over it cuz our waitress service was so crappy I had to get another server to get out drinks refilled I immediately asked for a manager and Megan came to the table and questioned us when we told her what had happened and then asked can I get you something different to eat an email if we were still hungry at this point in time My coworker's mouth is bleeding due to their food so no we're not about to get anything else to eat from here walked away us still all confused and aggravated and unsure of why anything else needed to be taken care of because at that point in time if you're a manager of a restaurant and the food that you serve to somebody in your restaurant cuts their mouth open to the point to where it it's drawing blood you immediately should be offering a whole the whole entire bill comped plus anything else that you can get especially if we were just getting food no alcohol beverages just when her chicken tender salad was the only thing that was offered to be taken off of the bill at that time I felt a little offended because this is the service industry that I work in and I already know if you're servers are not up to par and your food that you're serving in your restaurant isn't up to par then you're not going to get a whole lot of business but I also know that if I am a big popular famous restaurant like bubba's is then you're going to want a situation like that to be immediately handled taking care of no questions asked no no doubt about it or anything and this manager did not properly handle the situation at all you she offered a 10 $15 salad to be taken off of the bill when this lady my coworker her whole mouth had blood coming out of it behind their food so just me naturally being in the service industry I already know what should have happened and I already knew or should I say I already expected what should have happened and it didn't she turned around and went somewhere at which point in time we never seen her again she goes in prints the ticket off and since the sucky waitress back over to the table to hand us our bill at which point in time I looked at the sucky waitress and told her go tell your manager to come back here at which waiting time the owner came out and he basically did the same exact thing you mean to tell me you're such a well-built in established and famous restaurant you can't afford $100 tab or four people's meals that one of the meals your restaurant served the food cut one of your customers mouth open to the point to where was bleeding there was no sympathy or empathy from either the manager or the owner of the store at which point in time I felt almost dismissed when I even threatened them with the lawsuit which I'm going to continue and follow through with only thing that was willing to be taken care of and off of the bill who were all witnesses to that at the table was the 10 or $15 salad not the whole table s bill I feel like that was very unprofessional not taking any accountability for the fact that you own this restaurant and I took a bite of this food that you serve in your restaurant and it cut the whole entire inside of my mouth open and it's just supposed to be a salad and the best I get from you is we're so sorry can I offer you anything else off the menu they need to get better actual human skills like having concern with what's going on in their restaurant to wear a guest mouth getting bleeding cut...
Read moreThis was my first time at this restaurant and it definitely wasn't the best service AT ALL!! I will say that I was a part of a big party. It started off ok because they knew that we were coming. We didn't have any wait time. We were seated and it took a little bit for us to get drinks ordered. (Like I said, large party so no surprise there) Our drinks came out. I ordered an apple juice for my daughter but I wasn't told that it would be a juice box. (Otherwise I would've told her to wait for her food) My daughter drank all of her juice well before her food got there. It was quite a while before we were able to flag down our server to order appetizers. She came back after a shorter amount of time to take out entree orders (which again no biggie, large party). But that's where the good service ends. About 30 minutes we still had no food. I hardly saw our server and when we did get anything we had to flag her down. Our entrées finally come out but we NEVER got our appetizers. Because of this we just told our server to just not bring the appetizers out because our food was there. My steak wasn't cooked right and I only got one of my sides. There wasn't any silverware on the table so I ate my only side with my hands before we found some silverware at another table. I was so hungry at this point because we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours at this point. We finally flagged down what we believed to be a manager about my steak and missing side. She said that she would get it right out to me. It came fairly quickly but was unevenly cooked. When I asked about my second side she assured me that it was on its way out. That NEVER came🤷🏿♀️. Our server completely disappeared. When we asked about her we were just told that she went to step out back for a minute. I believe that she was overwhelmed and didn't know how to handle it. I did feel kind of bad but no one else came to help her until she disappeared. Oh but it took them no time to bring our checks. Out kiosk wasn't working so we had to wait to pay. After several attempts to get someone to take our payments we FINALLY figured out that all of our checks were on only one kiosk at one of the many tables that we had. No one explained that to us we had to figure it out on our own. It wasn't good service at all. We had been there 3 hours and I got half my food, one drink (not one refill) and my daughter's food. Not fulfilling at all. I'm honestly not sure if I will visit again this visit left a bad impression on me. If I was to give positives about my experience I would say: 1. We were seated quickly 2.At least I got some food. 3.The food tasted good 4. The atmosphere was fun and engaging 5. No one seemed to have an attitude. Final thought: don't so large parties here. Don't expect to be attended to in a...
Read moreI have driven by Bubba’s so many times in the past year and had never eaten there until just the other week. I was tired and didn’t feel like cooking and ended up stopping by just to grab a quick bite to eat. I honestly wasn’t certain what to expect and thought that it would probably be something similar to Chili’s or Applebee’s with a lot of finger foods that were just average. I don’t have anything against Chili’s or Applebee’s, but their food doesn’t exactly taste like homemade cooking with a lot of love going into it back in that kitchen. I mean you can get their food in a box in the frozen section of the grocery store. I thought Bubba’s would probably be the same, but I was starving and decided to give it a try. I was wrong. It was so different than what I expected and exceeded my expectations. There were so many things on the menu that I wasn’t certain what to try, so I tried several things… and I wasn’t disappointed with anything. Everything was so delicious. Elijah was my waiter and he made a lot of excellent recommendations, including an amazing item that I normally wouldn’t have tried-the raspberry chipotle wings. The combination alone sounded interesting, gross and intriguing at the same time. But I’m adventurous, so I decided to try it. Delicious!!!!!! I would’ve never thought that such a weird combination could work and be such a hit! I took some home and was raiding the fridge around midnight having the leftovers for a late night snack. The other dish that I tried was the poblano spinach dip, which Elijah also recommended. Another winner! As a matter of fact, I went back to Bubba’s again for the second time later that same week. I had to get the spinach dip again. I stopped eating shellfish almost 2 years ago but I saw the shotgun shrimp and decided to try it. I had no intentions of ever eating shrimp again after giving it up, but if for some reason I ever decide to go back to eating it, the shotgun shrimp would provide the temptation to make me do it. It reminded me of an authentic Creole shrimp dish with rice that I had back in Louisiana. Based on my recent two visits, I can already tell that Bubba’s is going to be my go-to when I want a good meal for a great price with nice-sized portions. The customer service was excellent, and Meghan, who is the manager, recognized me and stopped by my table to say hello and chat during both visits. The atmosphere is great, the customer service is wonderful, and the food is on point! It’s such a hidden gem that I almost want to keep...
