Captain D's — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I saw the ad for $6.99 Senior Meals, so I used the drive thru. At first I didn't see the option. I asked the cashier where I could find the Senior Special on the menu. He told me it was on the top of the menu. I didn't see it there. So I continued to look. The special was on a big flyer at the bottom of the regular sign. I told the cashier that I found the specials at the bottom of the menu. I then told him I would have the two piece fish and named the sides, and bread sticks. He told me my total was $11.78. I asked how I went from $6.99 to over $11. He told me because I ordered extra bread sticks!. When I received my receipt, I told him that he charged me $8.48 for the $6.99 Senior Special. He said he did not know I was a Senior. I told him that I discussed the Senior Special with him and had even asked him where it was on the menu. He maintained that he didn't know I was a Senior. It's unfortunate that this is one of my wife's favorite restaurants. My visit today was an unpleasant one. It is all because of condiments. My wife and I cannot enjoy seafood without condiments. All I got was ketchup for our fries and not enough of that. I asked the person who took my order at the drive through speaker. I mentioned it TWICE during giving my order. He did not confirm either time. He pretty much ignored me.. Then I get to the window to pay and am told that they don't take wireless payments. Captain D's is a national fast food chain. It is very sad that they are not up to speed in this "soon to be tender-free" society that we live in. I am inclined to believe that Captain D's is up to speed and this particular Location [3313 Western Brand Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23321] either lack the ability to train or have no desire to. Oh yeah, the cashier [Jamaal] confirmed that my condiments were in the bag. He flat out lied to me. I had nothing when I got home. I felt like Joe Pesci when he played Leo Getz in that Lethal...

The people were rude older. Darker lady rolling her eyes at me and I was patently waiting for her to take my order I asked her how her days was she ignored me on top if that I asked for a loaded potato and it just had. Cheese on it. No bacon no chive. And to ask for sour cream thought that they were being harrassed. Your think for some of the older. Women not here they would know by know to have good customer service skills but when. You hire people who just want a pay check and nothing else you get poor customer service. Be thank ful you have a job enjoy pleasing people and have a pleasant attitude, don't bring your bad attitude to work you make your company look horrible never again will I eat at any of there...
