Save yourself and go down a few more blocks to Sweet Kream Bakery (good Customer service and a great product). I usually don't leave reviews. However my experience with this company was unacceptable. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Customer service is awful 😖. This order was actually place over the phone with a staff that never mentioned the policy nor did she ask for any payment or give me a due date for payment. Leaving me believe it could be paid for the day of pick up like other bakeries. They left my daughter without a birthday cake on her birthday because they send a email to the WRONG ADDRESS with my invoice at 8pm on a Sunday the night before the morning it was to be picked up. Now they send serval emails last week pertaining the order to the CORRECT email and NEVER mentioned their policy to pay for the cake in FULL before you they bake it nor did they send a invoice at any point. Which would of been NO problem at all to pay for something in full that I'm receiving at a later date. I call before going to ask them the total for the order. She (the owner) informed me that she sent a email last night at 8pm (I told her serval times I didn't receive it) finally she realized that it was send to the wrong email address. This email was to informed me that the order was to be paid by 7am this am so she didn't bake a cake and it was nothing she could do about it (her mistake of not informing me of her policy nor for her mistake of sending the email out late to the wrong email address). This is just horrible. A simple phone call this am or yesterday to confirm my order on her end would of solved the problem. Becuse I confirm my order on my end last with you. Remember a good product is merely half the battle. Customer service is everything!!!

Which you didn't and had serval opportunities to do so. Sweet Kream does not take a order without informing the customer of that policy. I placed an order for 4 cupcakes that they make everyday (2 red velvet, cookies & cream, and their version on birthday cake flavor) and asked for a ribbon on the box because it was a gift. NUMBER ONE: When I came to pick up my cupcakes, there was NO ribbon on top so I asked again could there be a ribbon on my box. The employee cut a piece of ribbon and handed it to me and said, "I dont know how to do it .." (Anyone with eyes can see the issue in that) BUT I let it slide and left the ribbon in the store because I had no time for her shenanigans and stupidity.
NUMBER 2 .. I also asked for light icing because the cupcake that I tasted the day before had WAAAY TOO MUCH ICING ... The pre-ordered cupcakes had WAY TOO MUCH ICING as well and again I let it slide.
NUMBER THREE ! THE CUPCAKES WERE DRYER THAN THE SAHARA DESERT!
I CALLED TO ASK FOR A REMAKE ! THE OWNER'S PRIDE WAS HURT BECAUSE HER CUPCAKES WERE DISGUSTING SO ! WHEN I CALLED TO LET HER EMPLOYEES LEARN OF MY DISCONTENTMENT THEY TOLD ME SHE WOULD CALL ME BACK IN AN HOUR AND I RESPONDED BY SAYING, " OK ! EITHER WAY I'LL JUST CALL BACK WITHIN AN HOUR IF I DONT RECIEVE A CALL OR I'LL JUST COME UP THERE WITH MY CUPCAKES" ONE OF HER EMPLOYEES FLIPPED MY ENTIRE STATEMENT AROUND AND TOLD THE OWNER I WAS THREATENING HER !!
TO MAKE AN EVEN LONGER STORY SHORT, THE OWNER (DAWN) SLAMMED MY REFUND ON THE COUNTER AND MADE COVERT RACIST REMARKS TO ME AND CALLED ME A LIAR WHEN EVERY ISSUE I HAD WITH THE CUPCAKES WAS PROVEN TO HER. SHE DID NOT CARE THAT I WAS A CONCERNED CUSTOMER AS SHE TRYS TO PORTRAY TO THESE OTHER GOOGLE REVIEWERS WHO GAVE HER 2 STARS OR LESS. SHE IS SERIOUSLY AN EVIL OLDER WOMAN WHO IS A PROVOKER AND LIAR. IF THERE WERE A NEGATIVE 5 STAR I WOULD GIVE IT TO HER AS A PERSON BECAUSE SHE IS DESPICABLE !!!
I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing a specialty cake from this place. We ordered a sugar free cake. Went to pick it up and by the time we got home the top and bottom layer were separated. Also, the taste of the cake was dry! We spoke to the manager and she said it was a transportation issue. She advised that she had before pictures and the cake didn’t look like that. Well before and after pictures should look the same especially within a 10 minute commute. They were very defensive and offered in store credit. No go on the in store credit. We ended up tossing the cake and buying one from Cold Stone.
If you want a specialty cake please go to My Vegan Sweet Tooth. They do sugar free cakes and they don’t separate. They also taste lovely. I wish I would’ve went there. They truly know how to treat their customers.
UPDATE: My husband did not say he tipped over the cake. That sounds insane. Also, no threats were made. We simply stated we would post a review and WE did. You may want to consider looking up what a threat is. It's sad that you treat your customers the way you do. At the end of the day the cake was done sloppily and not once did the owner own up to it. The saddest part is, that it didn't even look like pac man. Looks like there are several other reviews here with the same issue. Instead of writing snarky replies you may want to invest time on how to better handle customers and bake decent...
