K Squared Cupcakes — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Ok, I was given 2 cupcakes (red velvet, to be exact) from a family friend...I wasn't to sure IF I even wanted to eat them however I took them to be considerate....MAN, THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MOIST, BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED (BURGUNDY/GOLD GLITTER ON TOP W/CRUMBS OF CAKE ABOVE THE FROSTING, WHICH I BELIEVE WAS CREAM CHEESE N NOT GREASY) & FRESH THEY WERE.....WITH THE MOST WONDERFUL FLAVOR I HAVE EVER EATEN BEFORE!!!!!

I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW MUCH I AM THRILLED to find such a great product BECAUSE TO-DATE (15 years), I HONESTLY HAVE NOT FOUND ANY BAKERY IN THIS ENTIRE AREA (HAMPTON ROADS-7 CITIES) THAT CAN EVEN COMPARE TO THE QUALITY THAT THOSE CUPCAKES HAVE!!!

I had a taste for cupcakes and this place popped up 3.1 miles away. We made it right before closing so they didn’t have a full selection to choose from but they had exactly what we like. I must say—the cupcake was good. Even as a a kid, I’ve never been big fan of icing so I always scrape it off. When I do that, I’ll find the cupcake is plain and all the flavor was in the icing.so I make sure to leave a very thin layer of icing on top. Not here. I couldn’t attend my brother’s surprise 65th birthday party due to COVID so I asked for recommendations from some friends for a bakery that would deliver in the area & K Squared was among them. I decided to go with her to support as a sorority sister and I’m so glad I did! From initial outreach to payment to coordinating delivery to my nephew on party day her customer service was seamless. When the cupcakes hit the table as dessert at the dinner they were a huge hit, my phone was ringing off the hook about how delicious they were!
