Jade Garden — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I don’t know if Jade Garden is under new ownership but the food is definitely not the same. I visited Chesepeake about 2 yrs ago and bought food and at that time it was GREAT so on my next visit to Chesepeake, which was about a week ago I visited Jade Garden again. The food was undeniably NASTY. The shrimp fried rice was over cooked and sticky, the boneless spare ribs were burnt, egg rolls were extra greasy, and the egg drop soup had a thick slime like consistency. Like I said they have to be under new management/ownership because the service and the food was awful. Two young kids up front running the register and taking orders, no complaint there however, all though I was the only one in the establishment at the time it took close to 30 minutes for me to get my order. Food is always great. I always get the Singapore Mei Fun and it’s always quality.

But I don’t understand how anybody complains. Especially saying how one experience is worse than before? I don’t understand how you live in a world where your standard of quality is perfection. No restaurant will ever be perfect and replicate perfection every time. You have to understand that. Giving a place one star is insane because of one bad night.
