So I just left this location November 25, 2023 at approximately 3:30pm. Been going here for years along with other chick fil a locations throughout Virginia. I ordered something that wasn’t unusual AND I’ve received it from this location and others too. A large ice cream in a cup. Well today, they told me they don’t serve those and never have. That’s a bold-faced LIE. I even pulled up the images to show the worker at the window because I know it’s an option to customers. My dad goes here ALL the time to get the family ice cream. He’ll get the kids the small red cups and adults the large cups so I know it’s been done. I sarcastically said “he must have been at the Battlefield location” to be funny because I know he always goes right by our house. Now it’s one thing if they said “I’m sorry, we no longer have that option at this location” vs trying to make it seem like it isn’t a thing at all there. Instead, the girl at the window stated “I’ve been here 6 years”…doesn’t seem like it. I’ve lived in this area since 2002 so her 6 years meant nothing and honestly had nothing to do with the ice cream cups. Never even been to a chick fil a and a worker speak like that. The girl in the drive through was fine who took my order, young girl with braids (maybe a teenager), and very polite but the girl at the window (young girl who looked no older than 21 with blonde hair) was not polite at all with her 6 years of experience and was more concerned about being “right”. Funny thing is, me and the 4 kids had just ate at a Suffolk location with AMAZING customer service and wanted to get ice cream closer to the house so we stopped here. Biggest regret.
Images below of proof chick fil a does large ice cream cups. Please management explain this situation. I honestly would rather take the drive all the way to battlefield than to go back to this location. Not because of the ice cream, but more so how the girl at the window responded. That shopping area hasn’t done that well either with restaurants since they opened so maybe this location won’t be here...

Our family frequently visits Chick-fil-A, as it's the only fast food outlet we patronize. Despite our loyalty, our recent experiences at this particular location have been mixed. A concerning incident occurred on Saturday, April 13th, involving an expired milk bottle included with my two-year-old's kids' meal. Upon checking the cap—something I don't usually do—I was alarmed to find that the expiration date was March 29th.
I immediately contacted the store to inform them of this oversight, emphasizing the seriousness of serving expired products, especially to children. The staff assured me that they would remove all expired milk from their inventory and process a refund or credit for the incident. However, when I returned on Monday, April 15th, I was dismayed to discover another expired milk bottle dated March 29th, 2024, in our order.
This repeated mistake suggests a lack of proper inventory management and oversight, particularly concerning items meant for young children who cannot express concerns about food safety. Despite assurances, it seems this location has not taken adequate steps to address the issue. Although I am willing to visit other Chick-fil-A locations, I am now hesitant to return to this specific outlet. Their response—or lack thereof—indicates a disregard for customer feedback and, more critically, customer safety. This experience has significantly shaken my trust in their commitment to quality and care.
Previous Review: I am a regular at this Chick-fil-A and I wouldn’t be if it wasn’t good. We have had some occasions where maybe the portions on a salad were off or the strips were smaller or maybe a little dry, but normally things are pretty good. They are always busy, but are pretty efficient with getting long lines through. Use mobile ordering! Orders never get messed up and makes things much faster going through drive thru. The food choices are healthier and better than almost any other local fast food restaurant here. I...
Read moreThe people who work there are usually friendly enough but the food sucks it's never made correctly When you ask for even the smallest modification that either don't put it in or it's made wrong I got breakfast this morning and I had to come back to get it fixed which normally is no big deal but whoever was on the back line had to remake it 3 times and all I wanted was no cheese also I don't know what your normal portion sizes are but I got a large hash round and there was only 16 hash rounds in the entire tiny a** box I work in fast food too and 16 hash rounds is what goes in our Small. Every time I come here the food is not cooked I have to go home and finish cooking in at home I've been coming here less and less and less over the years because it's not worth to pay all that money for a large combo and get half the amount of food that I normally get anywhere else on top of that it's not cooked right.
Edit: I posted this in the parking lot because I was so angry about them having to remake it so many times but I actually just looked at my sandwich to make sure it was Correct but when I got home and went to actually eat it it smells and tastes of mold What the actual heck I am never coming back here again I don't care if you do have overhead you don't serve moldy food to customers I'm gonna tell everyone never to go to that place again 10 years ago the service there was amazing and now it's just horrible. The people are nice but if you're gonna be serving stuff like that while smiling at customers It means the company has created an environment where all they care about is that their employees are smiling regardless of what they actually do at the job That's toxic as heck.
The hash runs were actually really good despite the portion size but if you mess up hashrounds maybe you should just...
