You will usually get some form of the numbered combo you order. After that you've got about a 50/50 shot of getting the actual type correct. (I only like the spicy but it seems like they go with a close enough approach on this one because I'm given the regular all the time even though the difference is really obvious). Last time I went the girl didn't even ask for my drink order so I had to ask if I could get a Dr. Pepper. She put me down for a coke. (Also regular chicken again you Basts) The time before that I got what I think was diet Dr. Pepper (close enough again right?) it was diet something but even for a diet soda something seemed off. I ate some of their good fries to wash the taste out and chucked it. They seem to have a lot of different staff and some of the older Ladies are great and get my order right every time. The chicken is usually great (it's still Popeyes after all). I just make sure to go somewhat near peak hours otherwise you are probably looking at some dried chicken that's clearly been on the warmer for a few hours. I've never bothered to go back and complain because I don't really expect (or honestly even blame) the employees to give a s. There is one girl that just yells angrily at you through the garbled speaker which is pretty shocking the first time it happens to you (I kinda like it now). I'm sure that I'll roll the dice again in the future and give them a shot whenever that Popeyes craving hits because I live just down the road. Best of luck with your order. Update: tried again for the spicy chicken. This time just a box stuffed with what was obviously leftover "ripin chicken" from their most recent special. Don't order Dr. Pepper either if you have any love in your heart for Dr. Pepper. They clearly don't know how to work the machine (god I hope thats what's going on at least) and they haven't for months. Read moreThe assistant or store manager was really disrespectful to me I picked up a delivery for doordash for another customer. The guy got mad came outside the back door because I didn't jump out of my car and come running into the store right away I sat out there and finished a 5-minute phone call that I had with some family business that I had to take care of. He came out of the back door looking at me disrespectful and mad. So then I get out of my car come inside and I come to the counter and there's another manager which was a woman asked me it was I picking up or ordering I said picking up and I showed her the phone. Your steps over there after she's giving me the food and tells me to next time come straight into the store that it said on his tablet that I have been waiting for the food for 8 minutes or something like that. First of all that timer starts when I push arrive at store on my phone. I hit the arrival thing when I was at the Dominion light waiting for the light to turn green and then I had to drive up to the next turn in and then drive across a long parking lot and then I parked and finished my phone conversation. To get back to the manager at the counter flushing me out over 8 minutes and being really disrespectful about it and then telling me that I'll be back and I told him I will not. The guy was acting like I work for doordash or work for his store. Telling me what to do and how to do what I do for a living. And being very nasty and rude about it. His bosses need to have a talk with him about his attitude cuz if he acts like this towards other people or other drivers he's going to run into the wrong one I'm telling you. Read moreThis place just needs to lock their doors and throw away the keys. This evening I ordered an 8 pcs.chicken...no sides , at the drive through,. UPON returning home, as soon as I opened the box I knew the chicken had been cooked earlier in the day and sat under the lamp for hours. It was a darker shade then it should be,it looked dry, was hard and stale all the way to the bone. The skin tasted like old grease. We wasted our money and once again a meal. The reason I made my own sides prior to buying the chicken tonight was because 4 months ago, i had an unpleasant experience when i ordered Popeyes sides. The Mac n Cheese was old and the Beans n Rice reek badly. It was obviously spoiled, runny and soggy. I called immediately to speak to a manager however the individual who answered the phone told me the manager is not there and to try calling back in morning so i did. When I called the next day and got the manager on the phone to share my story and bring the spoiled food to his attention he was rude and told me very aggressively that he's busy He did not apologize he just said "Do you want your money back" or "what is it that you want "and to bring the bad food back if I want a refund. I dont store spoiled food in my house especially the refrigerator and i will not pit it in my car to haul it to the restaurant but HAD me or my family, eaten the food could he, pay for our hospital bill or a days pay being home with food poisoning.
