Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I am a two time a month customer.. I always place an order that I pick up. Never have I had to wear a mask inside the store in order to get my food. Well today I walk in the store like normal and get told by the guy pulling pizza boxes that I have to wear a mask in the store.. It caught me off guard and so I told him my name and that I was just there to pick up my order that I prepaid for real quick and leave. He then recited some numbers telling me it was a requirement to wear a mask in the store.. I said fine I'll step outside and you can just bring my order to me.. Side note there used to be a table outside where they would put your order for you to take but has been removed for some time now.. So I stand outside and was ignored by the workers and after a few minutes and the guy realizing I wasn't leaving came to the door and began once again reciting the mask wearing policy.. I told him that he's standing close enough to me to just hand my order but he refused to do so and then told me I wasn't allowed to just stand outside of the store.. I asked him if I could pull my shirt over my nose and mouth and he said no.. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager.. I am completely outraged at this point at this persons lack of common sense and rigidity.. Out of frustration and the fact that I had already paid for this order I finally just left and found a mask, went back to the store and picked up my food.. There is a complete lack of common sense going on here that I just can't deal with.. Im sure no one from the store will care enough to do anything so I will take my twice a month business elsewhere.. Dominos claims to offer to bring you your food when you pull up but they dont.. They used to have a no touch set your food on a table where you can get it without a mask but they stopped and now their $10 a hour jokeof a store manager will hassle the customers instead of applying common sense customer service.. On a Friday busy as all pizza places are an there had to be a computer glitch to not process my order or payment and after the lovely employee says after I came back to pick my order she explained it never went through an it wasnt her fault and so she was so kind, patient, and calmly asked for me to call my bank to see if it went through and usually I always ask any place of business please so kindly give me a receipt and I didn't even ask but I was on the phone for nearly 25 minutes waiting for a person to come on as I had to be placed in line over the phone and as I did accordingly she reprocessed my ordered as I was on hold and once I was done I explained that it never processed and so her and I never butted heads she was as nice as she was when she took the first order and it was busy as a Friday evening is and she gave me a cold 20oz coke as I waited another 25 minutes and I would go there if they had a line wrapped around South Battlefield blvd cause the entire staff never changed their professional work ethics they stayed on key and they weren't bothered by how busy or how the phone was ringing and the young woman answered phones as she assisted me and I tried to give her a tip but there wasn't tip process to do so but they should cause she was doing 5 to 8 things at the same time and they all need raises and I thank the entire staff and management for having Excellency of how great your team is ......I give TOP INFINITY 10 OR...

I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! It was close to closing time, maybe 20 min or so and one thing I hate is when peeps come in that late and expect what amounts to "a miracle" feast to be served to them. With that being said, it had been a long rough day and night and the two employee's that were working that night were absolutely wonderful. They hooked me up with a special they had going on at the time and made one of the best pizza's I've ever ended up having! Also to save me money by telling me about the special since I was obviously in a hurry, and I was feeling bad about showing up so late but they were gracious and fast and just as delightfully nice and friendly as could be. Pizza ended up being a huge hit for the fam when I arrived home and I like to think and to THANK those employee's for going above and beyond with such fast and friendly service and an amazingly tasty pizza for my fam that night to boot. You are EXACTLY why I will be returning to this particular Dominos Establishment. Thank you again you are more appreciated than you know. Keep on...
