I was in there today (5-23-20), at about 2:00 PM, not more than half an hour ago, and I have to say my interaction with the staff was not good, and thatās being kind. I ordered a half dozen donuts, but did not specify what ones I wanted right away. So the cashier takes my payment and I go over to the area where they prepare the donuts. It seemed like it was more like social hour than a business, with them ignoring us the whole time, chatting back and forth amongst themselves, not even bothering to speak or ask what we wanted. They finally started to make the donuts and I tried to request certain ones and the girl behind the counter tells me itās not their policy to let the customer pick what they want. WHAT?!? So, I say well, I paid for them, so I should get the ones I want. Then the cashier pipes up and says that I ordered āassortedā, which wasnāt the case. I replied I did not. So the young man behind the counter was gracious enough to ask what we wanted and I told him, while the rude one walked off and didnāt even offer an apology or help him get the order ready, presumably to go continue socializing with the rest of this ill-mannered group. Meanwhile, an older lady, who I guess might be the manager, is oblivious to everything taking place and is walking around with a mask š· dangling off her ear and doesnāt even bother to ask whatās going on because she herself is too busy in the back yakking to the staff to be bothered. Everyone was rude and unwelcoming, with the exception of the young black kid making our order. The worker messed up my order and then stated she was going to fix my order which I had no problem and she told me I could have the donuts that she had messed up on. She later stated it was corporate policy and Iād have to pay for the donuts she messed up on and then took two donuts out of my box due to the fact that she messed up because she had stated I had to pay for the donuts as she is only allowed to replace one but she messed up two donuts. As one was a just coconut donuts and the other was a lemon raspberry but she had made a lemon raspberry and coconut donut all in one. I then watched her throw the donuts that she messed up on in the trash. In this instance she shouldāve gave the customer the donuts especially since she messed the order up and then the customer had to wait almost 10 minutes for the mistake to corrected. Even when she initially stated that I could have the messed up donuts. I will not return to this location if this is how a business treats their customers. Especially since I had to wait almost 10 minutes for them to fix the donuts that they initially messed up. It would be one thing if the employee didnāt state that I could initially have the donuts because itās understandable that people make mistakes but this one has cost them a returning customer as I will not be returning because I cannot support a business like this. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered online for curbside pick up. My order was due to be done and ready at 7:59am. I arrived at the store and called at 8am. The man who answered the phone said they didn't have a spot to park in and he didn't have the staff to bring my food out. He also stated he was not done preparing part of it. I explained I was not dressed to go inside as it was supposed to be curbside. He dragged out answering like this was my problem to fix and said he would have to figure out someone bringing it to me, but couldn't tell me how long that would take. My mother decided to go in and a few minutes later came out with our sandwiches. They had not even started on the donut order. Not only were there no customers waiting in the store there were 3 staff members. Clearly the shift lead didn't have staffing issues so much as an inability to effectively time manage. The man was running around the store wiping things down and making coffee. The girl making other orders was able to finish 2 dozen donuts in the time it took the girl making our order to finish just 1 dozen. Probably because the girl making ours was airing her dirty laundry out for the entire establishment. I don't have any issues with staff members having conversations, but when discussing your boyfriend issues and shopping plans gets in the way of doing your job its a problem.
