I’ve gone to Mod pizza twice now. I’ve had the same experience both times. The people who are putting the pizzas on plates and boxing them up are absolutely clueless. They don’t know whose pizza goes where. Some tables everybody gets their pizza except for one person, after waiting 30 minutes. You have to go up to the counter and actually point out your pizza sitting there getting cold and say that one is mine. After much insistence and battling to get your pizza, they finally give it to you. I’ve had to beg for them to give me my pizza both times I’ve gone. The system they are using to get food to people is not working. Very unorganized and inefficient. The music is so loud that you can’t hear them call your name saying your food is ready. You’re waiting so long and get irritated enough with it that it doesn’t make you want to go back, despite how good the pizza tastes. And their pizza is actually delicious. I hope they can get it together and change how they serve their food to customers in a more...
Read moreCame in last month and had a phenomenal experience with my daughter. It was our first time trying MODS pizza and I’m glad we choose the Battlefield location for our experience. We were in about a hour before closing with a coupon that didn’t work, allergy food needs and had no clue exactly what we wanted. The duo that helped was extremely kind and professional towards us and each other. I believe the young lady’s name was LaLa and the gentleman alongside her name escapes me. One of the other workers with them dropped some things on the floor and she immediately stopped what she was doing to assist him AND toss things that became unsanitary from touching the floor which made me feel that much more comfortable with my food seeing the extra care she took for cleanliness. The gentleman with her (not the one that dropped things) was extremely patient and kind. I spoke with Manager Madison today for the two to be recognized and even she was kind.
Only MODS I’ll order...
Read moreCELIAC MESSAGE! Decided to try this place today. Personally, I loved my thick crust pizza. However my wife has Celiac Disease. I noticed that their process for gluten free pizza, even after mention that it was allergy, was not great. Orginally we mentioned we wanted to have a gluten free pizza for her as an allergy. The first guy was great and changed his gloves and helped in ensuring it was gluten free. At which point it was put on the table for cooking. The cook picked up the pizza (on the metal plate) and pushed the pizza in the gluten filled oven without the metal plate which could have served as a separator from the gluten coated oven. I am sure that the pizza cutter was the same as well. My wife is not as sensitive as some with Celiac but did have a stomach ache after a couple of hours. We will continue to go to a 1000 Degrees Pizza even though Mod Pizza tasted better. It isn't worth it for us to constantly have to remind everyone that...
