Rarely do I order take out and love it! My husband and I ordered a philly cheese steak, a sausage and pepper sub, and appetizer sampler, and a cannoli. Both of us are very picky and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! The fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, fried ravioli, and mozzarella sticks were fried perfectly and were hot and crispy! We live about five minutes from Sals, but 90% of the time I order anything fried from most places it’s soggy trash by the time it gets to my house. The subs had quality meat on them, and delicious toppings, and the hoagie rolls were phenominal! I haven’t had a hoagie roll that good since I had a philly cheese steak in Philadelphia. Lastly the cannoli was AMAZING at first I was a little put off by the price so instead of getting two I got one. Definitely regretted that decision because it was really good! Like I said I was surprised at the quality of the food hopefully next time I order I get the same quality. The girl on the phone was also polite and on her game I didn’t have to repeat myself which I liked. She also read my order back to me in detail, and she got my credit card info correct right away. None of that annoying carelessness that you deal with often when ordering take out. Hopefully Sals management reads this I ordered on a Sunday 11/4 around 2 p.m. so whoever y’all had working today was on their game!...
Read moreI'd love to review the food but since I've been waiting an hour and twenty minutes for my calzone and still don't have it, I'll have to review on customer service alone. I called in to ask about my order but it seems like the women knew exactly was talking about because I couldn't get three words out before she interrupted me. She told me the driver had been out for a while so he should be here any minute and then she hung up on me. Another 10 minutes has gone by.
Judging by the other good reviews, I'm hoping that this is a one time occurrence. All I ordered was a calzone and a cannoli. I understand that at this point, the driver is most likely at fault (unless the kitchen took a long time) but better actions should have been taken to rectify the situation. An apology might have been nice rather than being interrupted and hung up on.
Update I called to voice my disappointment and that I don't want the order anymore since it's probably cold. I asked her to call her driver and tell him not to come. She said "Alright, thanks" and hung up. She never called the delivery driver (who finally showed up an hour and a half after I ordered) so he showed up and I had to tell him what happened. He looked confused and walked away.

Read moreUpdate: tried to give this place another chance and they just didn’t come through.pretty much same problem as before.except fries seemed better. Genoa sub not good and again this is my opinion.the Genoa salami seemed like maybe lesser quality? Or not Genoa? Because Genoa salami is more red and a little harder the one on the sun was maybe a Genoa bologna?any I didn’t care for the food .and neither did the wife.☮️
Honestly not impressed to say the least.delivery for 70$.knew I wasn’t ordering from a 5 star fancy cuisine but I’ve worked the same industry for over a decade so my complaints are valid.. ordered fries with bacon n cheese.the fries were pretty much raw.fry color slightly yellow.and the bacon.. hmm I don’t even think it was bacon it actually looked like the vegetarian bacon from the supermarket which we do eat at my home at times 😂😂 it was odd because the “bacon” looked odd it wasn’t crumbled it was actually sliced funny. Ordered eggplant parm but inside was grainy like one would say raw. Then a shrimp diavolo if spelled correct but it just tasted as the house marinara with a ton of hot sauce in it.the garlic bread that came with salads were good..what made me review basically was what ever the store calls bacon that “meat” was...
