Such a sweet couple that deserves the business. From personal experience working at an ice cream shop as one of my first jobs (and other similar types of atmospheres where food is demanded and you tend to have hangry people), I can honestly say that I really respect the leadership, team effort, and cooperation approaches this couple takes to run their company. While my husband and I visited, there was a line to the back of the store and not once did I see anyone yell, get pushy, or stress. Everyone (including the owners), immidiately stopped what they were doing, came forward, and helped each other where it was needed to better and more quickly serve the customers. It was almost therapeutic for me to witness. What I would have done to have bosses like that when I was younger. My husband and I drove almost an hour just to support this couple at their new location. We had been to the original location as it is located right near family, but they always treated us with such kindness and consideration that we mainly came for them. The ice cream is just as worthy and therapeutic to experience and there quite literally is nothing like the ube ice cream anywhere else you go. It's genius, delicious, and the purple color is pretty. Lol! My husband and I are complete opposites with flavors and neither of us have ever been disappointed. I have a sweet tooth and my husband is actually a nutritionist and personal trainer. Lol! My family of three live in the Las Gav neighborhood, right next to Sundae Scoop. The first time we encountered this establishment was right before closing after a hockey game. We were given a complimentary bag of ice cream varieties. This was super kind and goes to show the character of who runs this place. My husband and I both got banana pudding and my daughter got birthday cake and all of the flavors are really great! The two gals working were super great and so sweet! I have to mention and shout out the gentleman who was either the manager or owner? I’m not sure…but either way he has won me over. I came to get the pistachio flavor, but it wasn’t on the board and I had mentioned that and he went in the back and he got me a scoop of it in a cup.
