The only reason I didn't give a one-star rating is because the guy at the window was very courteous.
When I pulled up to the microphone to place my order, the drive-thru employee asked, "how may I help"? I asked for a Doublestack (only ketchup & mustard) 4 for 4 with a Coke and BBQ sauce for my nuggets, then I added on Baconator fries. She comes back and says, "can you repeat all that". I'm thinking, why would you ask to help me if you're not ready to help me. I went ahead and repeated the order exactly as I first ordered it. She says "the Doublestack isn't on the 4 for 4 menu anymore". I'm looking directly at the menu board and it shows the Doublestack, so I told her I'm looking at it on the board. She said "the menu changed". I just shook my head said "ok, give me the junior bacon cheeseburger" (only ketchup & mustard). She gives me my total and I pull around to the window. The guy at the window was very nice. His job appeared to only consist of taking payment and hand orders to customers as they pull up. He handed me my drink, then the bag of food. As I pulled around, I realized I wasn't given the junior fries that come with the 4 for 4 meal, only the Baconator fries. I then looked at the receipt and saw it explicitly states junior fries and at the bottom it says Baconator fries. I was in a hurry, and drive- thru was already backing up, so I had to just head out. At this point I opened the burger wrapper, and saw no ketchup, but a bunch of mayonnaise and mustard. I said "only ketchup & mustard". I looked at the receipt again and it just says "mustard". Whoever is taking orders doesn't follow directions and has poor customer service.
I used a napkin wipe off the mayonnaise, which also wiped off the mustard. Needless to say, I had a bland bacon cheeseburger.
My complaints are:
Be prepared to take an order when you say you're ready to take the order.
If the menu has changed, make sure it's reflected on the menu board. You should honor what the menu states, no matter if the menu has changed or not.
After placing an order twice, you should be able to at least make...
Read moreI stopped here to get a $1 Frosty special after some shopping. It was about 3:30pm and there was quite a line for the drive through so I decided to go inside to order my Frosty. I was the only customer inside. There were six employees gathered at the French fry area and they all looked at me when I approached the counter. I said “hi” and they turned around! That made me giggle, about 29 seconds later an employee came to the counter register and I said “Hi, I would like a …” and she cut me off real quick and said “ I ain’t working this drawer!” Then I heard the manager ask another employee to go take My order, they told her “no, I’m busy” so the manager told another employee to just go enter 331 or a number like that to take my order, I could tell that employee was not happy about this at all . She approached me and asked “what you want?” I replied with “I would like a $1 Frosty special” she then asked “what kind you want?” I said “the one for $1” I was unaware they came in two flavors! So then she sighed loudly and said “chocolate or vanilla?” I replied “oh, vanilla is fine” . I attempted to put my credit card in the slot and she nearly yelled “not yet” at me, only to say “do it now a second later, by this point another customer had come in and was behind me and she then asked that customer “what you want?” Ironically she also said “a $1 Frosty special” and frustrated the employee loudly asked “what kind?” Also confused this customer wasn’t sure what she was asking so I said “they have chocolate and vanilla!” That customer then said “chocolate please” the employee said “$1.12” to us and turned away. She came back and fumbled the two Frosty’s on the counter, almost dropping one and then walked away. The other customer and I looked at each other and smiled and told each other to enjoy our Frosty. I t was about the rudest encounter at a fast food restaurant I...
Read moreI've been going to this location for years. I was here 2 weeks ago with no issue. Tonight I made a mobile order like I always do for drive thru pick up. I have 2 toddlers that I don't wish to inflict on patrons of the lobby. The order was $4, a fry and drink. Upon informing the speakerphone of my order, there was an awkward pause followed with, "you need to come inside". No explanation given. I told them I'm not coming inside. It's dark, it's freezing. I have my two young children with me. That's fine, just refund my order, I guess. Another pause and then "you need to cancel thru the app". Whatever. I park and tell the app to cancel the order. The app responds with a pop up that my order cannot be canceled due to the fact that it's already been processed. I pull up to the drive thru again and inform the employee of the situation. They meander off, seemingly unsure of what to do. I am greeted by a new face with a "how can I help you?" I tell the employee I need my money back. I'm not coming in the lobby. I don't know when mobile ordering here became so exhaustive. There's nothing in the app warning that a drive thru order is not possible at this particular location. The manager (I assume? She was snippy enough) tells me all mobile orders come inside, it's always been this way forever at all Wendy's. I think she was slighted by a postmastes order gone wrong or something? I honestly couldn't tell what her beef was, but she told me to call corporate to get my money back so that's what I had to do. A convenient location up until today. But if you'd like to order thru the app and save a few dollars, don't waste your time because they don't want your money anymore. 11/22/2024, 5:08pm. Store...
