Wow…what can I say, what a hidden gem in this neighborhood! I’ve passed here countless times and never thought to stop by until now! Wished I had stopped by sooner!!! Excellent pizza and cheesesteaks and French fries!!! I normally don’t like pizza crusts because they either are not crispy enough or are hard and taste like cardboard. I normally save the crusts for my dogs but not this time!!! Their pizza is sooooo incredibly delicious with toppings to the rim and the crust is to die for! Probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time where I actually ate the entire slice, crust and everything!!! Reminds me of New York style pizza!!! Food is superb, amazingly delicious, hot and freshly made, and super fast! Cheesesteak is on point and very delicious as well, according to my life partner!!! I will stop by here more often and can’t wait to try other things on the menu!!! So far the pizza is my favorite!!! Great and friendly service by such wonderful people!!! Prices are dirt cheap for this area!!! Keep up the excellent work Pollino’s!!! You’ve earned a loyal...
Read moreI have ridden by this so many times and never knew about it until some friends told me about it and then all of a sudden here comes JL Jupiter's video. While I didn't get pizza (I wasn't in the mood), my other half and I got a cheesesteak (wit wiz) and a cheeseburger platter. The cheesesteak was good but it just felt like it was missing a little something. 7.5/10. The burger (reviewed by the other half) was a 7/10. It was fresh and all the toppings (lettuce, pickle, tomato) were fresh and tasty but the roll was too big for the burger. He doesn't like not being able to see the meat on the bun 🤷♀️ (again, his portion of the review, not mine). He said the roll was fresh but maybe not the best fit for the burger being sold.
The fries...omg!!! They were so fresh, so hot and PERFECTLY seasoned. The fries were some of the best I have had...and I LOVE fries 🤣
I'd come here again and try something...
Read moreOur family tried Pollino's pizza for the first time yesterday and all I can say is WOW! It was amazing. Thin crust with just the right amount of sauce and cheese made it one of the tastiest pizza I've ever had. I think we found our new go to pizzaria. It's by far the best pizza we've had locally and it's not even close. Met with the husband and wife (owners) yesterday and they were very personable and down to earth and told us the story of how they got started and it's a great american success story. I would call the pizza a cross between Boardwalk and New Haven style and it's simply delicious. It's so good that I heated up some of the leftovers for breakfast this morning (pizza, the breakfast of champions). I will highly recommend Pollino's to all of my family...
