Ocean Super Buffet — Restaurant in Ridley Township

This is an awful buffet. We did look at reviews prior. Some of the photos show lobster, crab, crab legs, etc. NOT the case. We saw the reviews about choosing to visit during peak times to ensure fresh food and a good selection. So we waited till 6:00 on a Saturday. Absolutely terrible. You will leave hungry. I did. Sushi, is low quality and so old it was to hard to eat, another piece with raw fish was so stiff a fork won’t penetrate it. See video. Shows crabs on the photos. They do have them. They are so tiny that you can’t eat them or work with them. See photos. The crab is smaller than the shrimp. Let’s talk about quality, it’s the furthest thing from it. Poorly seasoned, poorly prepared, sadder ingredients. The “roast” was a sad boiled corned beef. ALL the food was cold, all of it. In this instance I’m not talking about age, though it is old, the food is sitting in steam tables that aren’t keeping warm. So foods are getting into the danger zone for food poisoning, AND they don’t swap it out if it’s not being consumed. People WILL get sick. Probably explains why there is two names online in Google Maps and Apple Maps. Two names for the same place. The other one for to full of bad reviews. Please for the love of food STAY away from this dump. Also, service was terrible. We never received a refill, our waiter made a point to NOT come to our table after seating us. He would stand ten feet away doing nothing, staring at the empty glasses. If I could tell you any more plainly to do anything short of eating from a dumpster before here I would ....

I found a flyer on my windshield for this place and it said " Birthday - eat free" and as luck would have it, my birthday was the next day. We did a quick online review search and almost all of them were negative. We had eaten here about 10 years ago as part of corporate event and it was pretty good so I was hoping for the same experience. Sadly, we did not get that. The people at the front desk are nice, or at least as nice as they can be. English is minimal at best and you get a sense of not really being welcome , just a "pay now" from the hostess and then shown to your booth...which we didn't like because it was near the waitress station and the 2 or 3 girls were always staring at us, so we picked up and moved to another booth. As one person mentioned , it can go from quiet and enjoyable one minute to loud and annoying the next when people come in with their kids . The food - I can honestly say that nothing tasted good. Everything was cold, despite steam coming out of the pans. Everything was tough, and tasted like it had been sitting there all day. The presentation is nice, but the food itself is just not good. No one ever came over and asked "is everything ok?" or " do you need another drink?". On the way out the woman at the register did say " have a happy birthday , good night" so that was nice . My suspicion is, if they had a lot more customers they might put out more food and it would be fresh . We tried our best to like this place but we...

My Family and I came to eat there and the food wasn't up to par. All the meat looked so dry like it was sitting outall day. The pasta was so gummy and sticky. I had to ask for fresh food. The Price is insane too expensive 😫 especially for the area it's in. I had to watch a waitress eat while on her phone, she sat adjacent to us and another waitress napping, and the third waitress standing there staring at us. Our waitress; the one that was eating got up and asked us for a refill didn't wash her hands!!!!!!!!!! She went right back to eating after getting us a drink. I watched her get up after she was done and bring the rest of her food to the back and not dump it in the trash like they do for dine in guest's 🤮.

I HATE WHEN SERVERS REACH OVER YOUR FOOD! the waitress was very aggressive even when I told her hold up I got a look. While we were eating our server was mopping the floor right next to us. And then hadcthe nerve to touch my cup after! It smelled like old moldy mop water that's been in the bucket for weeks. I was so turned off.

I don't like being watched while I'm eating. Allot of that was going on. We got there late evening and the food was so DRY and bland. I don't think we will be...
