Smoothie King — Restaurant in Chesterfield

This place cannot handle the business. It is the worst smoothie king I have ever visited. The people who work there are more interested in flirting and screwing around than making smoothies. The only guy working was high as a kite and just looked lost half of the time and could not follow basic instructions. If you order over your phone you will be the last person they take care of. I waited nearly an hour for a single smoothie and watched 40 or more people come and go before I got the order. If you are a delivery driver, reject the orders for this store because it won't be worth whatever they are paying to waste an hour of your life to be ignored. The part that is the most infuriating is that they didn't even have the mobile order set up turned on!!!! They just kept saying were backed up and laughing. Go to any other smoothie king but this one. This place doesn't care about the customers at all and they do not deserve your hard earned money. Updating my previous review of 5 stars to 2. This used to be the best of the best Smoothie King locations, but the people that made it great a few years ago have all since left. Roughly half the time I come in for a Hulk smoothie and they don't blend it completely. They leave chunks of ice in the cup and unblended pieces of protein. The protein sometimes is clumped together like it's very old or got moisture in the container. As I drink the smoothie, I'm spitting out clumps of protein. One time I got a coffee smoothie and they entirely forgot the coffee! It just tasted like bananas. It's really a shame, I keep going back hoping it'll be better, but this spot has gone downhill. Nicest staff I've met. They're genuine and welcoming to all their customers. Their smoothies are fantastic and well worth the price. 40 minutes for a drink & toast is insane. Maybe have more than 2 workers on a Friday (when you offer free upgrade) during lunch time. I was made late returning to work & was given attitude when I told them to forget the smoothie I would just take care of it later. After already having being told 10min prior to that when my toast came up they were working on my smoothie. I do understand they had a large dash order come in that put them behind but this is no more my problem than it is theirs. I can’t comment on if the toast was good as I didn’t have time to eat & had to high tail back to work. Then was so frustrated that I didn’t even want to drink the smoothie.
