Note: this is a great establishment with a smooth atmosphere so don’t let that take from the place

Sadly it seems they are supporting las mamacitas by their advertising. Rich the cook/ photographer has got payment and showed up for numerous people’s weddings and then absolutely refuses to give the pictures . When I commented on your Facebook and was very open to conversation I got blocked so I know no one is serious about it. As for meeting in person to discuss, I tried to explain myself and was told by a lady manager that she doesn’t care about what happened between us and doesn’t want to listen. We were then told to leave from in front of the store and food truck after confronting the food truck owner and cook to have a conversation. Sadly this has happened to at least 6-8 couples this past year that I know about. I really did enjoy your business too! Cool idea. Great atmosphere. So sadly as more people who got scammed , friends, family of all these people start seeing them parked out there is may increase the negative reviews and drop your revenue significantly. I’ve even heard of some people possibly getting city approval from chief of police and paperwork filed to even protest the food truck outside your store . It is unfortunate that I have to leave a 1 Star review since this was one of my favorite bars in Chesterton. They have fallen into bed with another business whom actively scams their customers and now main street Tap is playing their games as well. They have been deleting reviews and comments and still continue to support and work with a business that they know is scamming people. The owner seemed genuine but unfortunately this is what it is now.

Update: I’m unable to reply to the owner who replied to this review. I apologize for having to do this because you really do have an amazing bar but you are doing business with scammers. There are more ppl other than me who are starting to notice this. If I were to come in how could we solve...

A really cool Chesterton hangout. Main Street brings in a fresh perspective and great beer selection while still maintaining the rustic and historic characteristics of the building. Cider and a few wines are also offered and I can’t wait for the live music to begin. Staff are all smiles and always willing to help....
