I came here at 6:35am to order a to go order. I decided to come inside to order it instead of going to the drive thru. The lady working asked me why I was there. I said to order. I asked if that was ok ,and asked if they opened at 6:30am thinking maybe they were not open yet by the way she was acting. She told me people usually just go to the drive thru ,and acted like me coming inside to order was an inconvenience to her. I ordered my food ,and a Frosty Creme Cold Brew coffee. All the other Wendy's I go to I ask for a extra pump of vanilla flavoring. When I asked her she told me that she can't do that and pointed me to the sugar packets and told me to go add my own sugar. The one good thing is the food was hot and excellent. The attitude from the employee was less than to be desired. I more than likely will just take my business to a different Wendy's since they always seem happy to take my order. I’ve lived in Chesterton 10 months and they have continued to get worse rather than any better. Every time I dash here I wait 30 + mins as well. Even when there are no other cars I’m told to pull into a parking spot. What are we waiting on? Are you learning to do your job as you go? Day time is terrible and somehow the night crew is just as bad. I’ve never seen a place so put together to seem like the objective is to make the experience as bad as possible. I have drove all the way to the Hebron Wendy’s and back with a shorter overall trip then this place which is 5 mins down the road. Even the drinks are bad.
