We'll start with the positives... The burger was the star, would recommend, and would get again. The beef alone was thick and melt in your mouth, excellent. The bun wasn't dipped or juicy enough. I missed that the hot Gardiner comes on it, way to spicy for me. I tried to ask for it on the side once I figured that out. They said the sandwich was made already. It took another 8 or so minutes for the rest of the order to go, to get ready. Needles to say, the sandwich wasn't hot, and the fries were cold and soggy once home. The Rangoons are both over rated- would not recommend either. Not one bite of actual crab, pretty much the same filling with strawberry jelly added... only a 3 piece order and is way overpriced. Someone should be ashamed for the BBQ Pork that came out of the kitchen, 1/3 of the order charred beyond belief as other reviews have mentioned. Literally threw it in the garbage. It's smoky like American style and similarly sauced, which chinese Q doesn't sauce. I was looking forward to the Q style changes, very disappointed. It was very fatty/ chewy and seemed like a low quality piece from the few bites that were edible. The Spicy Chicken was reported as pretty decent. The "wraps" were about half of what I would expect, 3 Chicken nuggets served in a med fry cup. Yes, the wrap was about 3-4" long or tall... again, way over priced or too small of portion. There is no value there either way. The fried rice was fine, but I was surprised it had soy sauce and a bit salty... again, more of a single size side, not what you may expect when you order fried rice for that price. There is no real value in much of the menu. Parking out...

We ordered Hot Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Pork, and the Fried Rice.
We found the Teriyaki chicken to be average, but the included garlic noodles seemed somehow dry, but also simultaneously very oily and slimy.
The “Nashville” in the description of the Hot Chicken we found to be a possible typo. This chicken we found to taste moreso of the included pickles than any sort of Nashville spice. In fact we didn’t feel any heat at all from this chicken, unless eating one of the included slices of pepper. This chicken was provided in a very watery sauce with a flavor we couldn’t quite place. Unlike the teriyaki chicken, the “hot” chicken came breaded, but was far too crunchy for a Nashville style chicken. We thought eating this chicken sounded like eating potato chips.
The BBQ Pork was average. We believe it could use more of its own flavor. The included BBQ sauce was fine, but the pork is so close to being able to stand on its own without any sauce.
Finally, our biggest disappointment was the rice. Like many restaurants, it seems they believe the key to fried rice is a bag of mixed vegetables from the grocery isle. The included bbq pork, spam, sausage, and other ingredients seemed either absent or underperforming in this dish. We had high hopes for the rice, as it’s present on most of the restaurants advertising. Unfortunately it felt like a typical order of fried rice and did not even have the bbq-red hue it appears to have in advertising.
Our order amounted to just over $60, and included enough food we could have split well between 3-4 adults,...
Read moreAlways see the corner business next to Maria's come and go but I always make sure to give it a try before it's gone. Ordering online (take out) was a breeze. Thanks for having visuals to go with the names of foods. It didn't take very long for my food- about 15 minutes. The staff was nice enough. That deserved 2 stars. I think I should've opened it before I left for home. I ordered 3 3LP boxes and crab Rangoon (only comes with 3 pieces). I'm pretty sure my boxes were supposed to come with veggie fried rice but they all had white rice (well, I could've made white rice at home). 1st box was The orange chicken. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. 2nd box was string beans. It was mushy, overcooked, greasy, and it looked like the garlic sauce was globbed in the middle of the string bean layers. It was too much. 3rd box was a combo of char siu and teriyaki chicken. The char siu was dry and unflavored but covered with sauce. The teriyaki was like the orange chicken but without the orange flavor. The Crab Rangoon didn't come with sweet and sour sauce so we ate it dry which was fine, I guess. You'll need to really try to mess up crab Rangoon. I did expect more flavor but it's what it is. It tastes like any chop suey restaurant's Crab Rangoon. Would I go back? Hmm maybe I'll try the burger and the fried rice. Wish I was able to try the veggie fried rice with my 3 boxes but alas. Maybe it will change my mind about this restaurant, maybe it...
