Epic Burger — Restaurant in Chicago

Ok, I have to share this to save someone else the $10 turkey burger fiasco I just experienced.

I'll preface this by saying that the fries are usually terrific - was not the case today - and the burgers I've had were good, so I took a gamble on a turkey burger and here was the result...

A dry, tasteless bun with a turkey patty seemingly devoid of any detectable seasoning, with cheese that was cut so thin when it melted onto the patty it basically disappeared, and underneath the bland-ass patty, a robust slice of tomato (well done), two pickles and literally a TEASPOON of "special sauce" in the center. Just enough to entice you to imagine how it might be if my burger had, in fact, been smothered in some semblance of flavor. Color me shocked when I ate half, because I was damn hungry, and felt an indescribable ennui which rendered me unable to continue.

Life passes in the blink of an eye. It's the little joys, and the greatest disappointments which we remember to the end. Sadly, this has fallen squarely into the category of the latter.

Boo, Epic...

Extremely awful customer service! My husband picked us up some dinner from Epic Burger two blocks away and was gone for almost 40 minutes! He order three sandwiches/burgers and of course they made two of the three incorrectly. It took them way too long to remake the sandwiches with no apologies and as he waited his sandwich got cold and the fries got soggy. They didn’t offer any refund and when he inquired, they snatched the bag from him and proceeded to take his sandwich back. The manager was so rude and didn’t represent the business well. I’m disappointed that Epic Burger would hire such a terrible manager and if it’s their policy not to refund customers for their mistakes then they have the wrong business motto. When we got the bag back all our fries were thrown about at the bottom. Not to mention they changed their chicken tenders from delicious chunky strips to something I can find in a frozen bag at the grocery store. McDonald’s would have been a better choice. They at least know when they make...

First of all this place needs to pipe down with the attitude lol. No concept of customer service or even being polite. Girl with the long hair who took our order had the rudest demeanor, super unnecessary and uncalled for. Who raised you with those manners? Fix yo self😂 second there was nothing epic about this burger at all😂 they tried to tell me my burger was 8oz, it was a 3 oz at best. Sent the flattened burger back, they made me a new one but it was dripping in oil. The rude lady who took our order was examining the burger I sent back like something was wrong with it or as if I did something to it. Loooooool.
