Nordstrom Rack — Local services in Chicago

I am a loyal Nordstrom customer and cardholder. I had never really been a fan of the Rack stores because it had the perception of lesser quality of customer service. How wrong was I?! I was in Chicago for a day trip for lunch and shopping. I had several shopping bags with me. I decided to check out the Nordstrom Rack store before I left. I didn't buy anything. When I got to the airport, I realized I had left one of my shopping bags while trying on shoes in the Rack. I frantically called the store hoping someone had turned it in. I spoke with the lovely Wendy, whom informed me that someone had indeed turned it in. I explained the situation that I was at the airport and didn't know when I would be back in the city to pick it up. She was so gracious. They don't typically ship anything from the store, however, Wendy told me if I hadn't heard from them before close of business, to call back the next morning and they would figure something out. Long story short, she called me back and arranged for my bag to be shipped to my home in Atlanta. (I had to buy a $3 chap stick and pay for shipping but well worth the price to pay to get my $150 jewelry back!) The package arrived today and I have my jewelry back! Yesterday evening I was in the Nordstrom Rack located on Chicago Avenue. I was looking at sunglasses for about 10 or so minutes when a security guard apporached me, asked me to follow him to the door, and then told me that I couldn't be in the store because I had been smoking (marijuana). Now there was a faint smell of it in the room, but it definitely wasn't me because I do NOT smoke. I did not argue because I am not a confrontational person and I was I shock, but I deeply feel that I was targeted. There were others present as well, but it was assumed that it was me. I was extremely embarrassed and singled out unfairly. I shop with this company regularly, as well as have a credit account, however, I will refrain from spending money at a place where I have been...

Always crowded but understandably given it's in the hub of Michigan Avenue. Offers an impressive selection of designer merchandise and leaves me wondering, how much of this stuff is made specifically for Rack? There's too much product here to be 'extra' left over from Nordstrom. Compared to other Nordstrom Racks popping up, this store seems to be a little dated, and due soon for a store front upgrade.

The register lines move quickly for the sheer amount of people that are in it. My only compliant is the dressing rooms always have a line that moves less-quickly and often are overwhelmed with product. Also disappointed that there's no 'Home' section.
