I recently had the pleasure of dining at Franklin Tap, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the host, Jake, greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. The food at Franklin Tap was absolutely delicious. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. The menu had a great variety of options, from hearty burgers to mouthwatering salads, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste. The presentation of the dishes was also top-notch, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. Not only was the food outstanding, but the drink selection was also impressive. Franklin Tap offers an extensive list of craft beers, cocktails, and wines, providing a perfect accompaniment to the meal. Jake, our host, was incredibly knowledgeable about the different drink options and helped us find the perfect pairing for our meal. What truly set Franklin Tap apart was the exceptional service we received. Jake went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about our satisfaction. He even took the time to check in on us throughout the evening, making sure everything was to our liking. His professionalism and dedication to customer service were truly commendable. Overall, I cannot recommend Franklin Tap enough. The combination of delicious food, a wide range of beverages, and outstanding service provided by Jake made for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a casual night out or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Franklin Tap is the perfect choice.

Franklin Tap: A Roller Coaster of Flavor Let me take you on a journey through my recent visit to Franklin Tap. As a returning patron, my expectations were high, but alas, they were met with a roller coaster of experiences. First up, the garlic Parmesan wings. I eagerly anticipated indulging in their savory goodness, only to be met with disappointment. The sauce, touted as garlic Parmesan, tasted more like a botched attempt at an Italian dressing. It was a letdown, to say the least, reminiscent of the worst adaptation one could imagine. However, I'm willing to chalk it up to an off day in the kitchen. Despite this culinary misstep, the staff shone bright during the lunch rush. Their demeanor was friendly, professional, and accommodating, making the dining experience pleasant despite the culinary hiccup. The atmosphere buzzed with energy, with patrons seeking a quick bite adding to the vibrant ambiance. Now, before you write off Franklin Tap entirely, let me remind you of the silver lining: my previous visit. The shrimp tacos were a testament to the establishment's capability of delivering decent fare. So, while I may hesitate to recommend the garlic Parmesan wings, I wouldn't dissuade you from giving Franklin Tap another shot. In conclusion, Franklin Tap remains a viable option for a quick lunch bite or brew. While they may stumble in some culinary endeavors, their friendly staff and potential for tasty dishes are reasons enough to give them another chance. Who knows? Your next visit might just be the one where they hit it out of the park.

They only offer high top tables. After sitting on the chairs for an hour your ass really starts to be uncomfortable. They do have regular tables outside. I loved their cider options. I had a 2 Towns pineapple cider and an Original Sin pear cider. Both were really good. I also got their steak wrap with fries. It was really good. They have Coke products. Our waitress was great. We never had an empty drink. She was friendly and accommodating. They do have a lot of food and drink options. They also have a free shuttle to all Bears home games. They also have weekend brunch. Great place to watch a game and have a good bite to eat.

It took me a while to decide whether to write a review or to just let my experience be. I came to the bar to visit some friends and later on decided to sit at the bar. I ordered two beers for me and a buddy, where I would then find myself seated next to a woman who called herself a lawyer. I paid for my drinks, but didn’t leave a tip. I always tip at the end once I am done having my drinks. However, this time was different. I was berated by this woman for not tipping the bartender for my first round of drinks. She said you should always tip your bartender. To get her off my case, I proceeded to tip the bartender right after and she continued insisting that I tip more. Later on, the bartender also tells me how tips are greatly appreciated and tells me the amount of money that he makes hourly. Now, if you choose to work at a bar, you should not complain about how much you make. You know that tips are what make most of your pay, and you are ok with that. However, how did this one woman find out that I did not tip the bartender? Did she look over my shoulder and see that I did not tip him? Did he tell her that I didn’t tip him? I don’t know. Once again, my first round of drinks I did not tip because I tip at the end based off the service of the bartender. My buddy came and saw that this woman was telling me about tipping the bartender and he also tipped him because he thought there was a misunderstanding. After a while of ordering more drinks, she kept bugging him saying that he should tip the bartender more. We left. Nice little tavern bar, but just not the experience I wanted. I’ve worked at a bar as a door guy, and I know tips are appreciated, however, this was not the way to...
