Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Chicago

I usually do not leave reviews but today was really disappointing and I left extremely dissatisfied. I walked in today with my boyfriend at around 6pm, when we walked up to order, the gentleman working took my boyfriend’s order and went to ring him while completely ignoring me. He continues to ignore me until we walked up to let him know that we were together. Though we obviously were standing together and both walked in together. It was not busy inside so I know that he saw us walk in together. I placed my order and we ended up paying together.

However it turns out that the guy working wrote down both of our orders wrong so my boyfriend got the wrong meat in his sandwich and I was waiting for my order for about an additional 10 minutes before I had to walk up and ask about it. I never got my corrected order, instead they remade my boyfriend’s sandwich and I ended up with the first sandwich that was made wrong. Our usual 10 minute trip turned into an almost 45 minute trip with both of us disappointed. I am not sure if we will ever return to...

I have never been to a Jersey Mike's. Today was the type of day that I needed a sandwich more than anything if I was to keep going. Sometimes, the universe sends you exactly what you need. I happened upon the good old JM and was given immediate service. The server at this location, maybe seeing my awe at the array of options, offered a recommendation of a secret menu item, the 99. Whoever made me that sandwich was touched by an Angel and created a sandwich perhaps the gods would envy. If you like the heat of the earthy jalapeno along with the creamiest pepperjack cheese and the freshest bread mixed into one perfect meal, you would also cry upon the first bite. Admittedly, I had skipped breakfast. Still, it is my steadfast opinion, dear reader, that the quality of food is only the second reason I plan on returning to this fine submarine eatery; the first and foremost will be the warm and friendly service that could see a customer in need of a food miracle.

I used DoorDash to have sandwiches delivered to family in Chicago. I’m currently in South Carolina. I needed to have the vinegar and oil separate, not on sandwiches. There is no option on the DoorDash ordering app for this request. I decided to directly reach out to the Jersey Mike's store on Fullerton to request my delivery order. I spoke with someone who could not have been nicer and more accommodating to my request. He stated that he’s got me on the request. When delivery was made, the store employee did have my back on separate vinegar and oil containers. This store does not offer packets like some sandwich shops, but it did not stop this employee from satisfying a request from the customer. Thank you for going the extra mile for my request.
