I am delighted to share my review of Lee Wing Wah in Chicago, which I must say was an absolute delight from start to finish. Although there was a slight 10-minute wait for a table, it was well worth it, as the food and service were outstanding. The menu offered a great selection of Chinese cuisine, and each dish was prepared to perfection. The Szechuan green beans were crisp and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The Szechuan pork was incredibly tender and had a rich and complex flavor that was truly delightful. The celery chicken with bird nest was a unique and delicious dish, with a great combination of textures and flavors. The Singapore noodles were also outstanding, with a perfect blend of vegetables and tender noodles. Aside from the delicious food, the authentic decor added to the overall experience. The restaurant had a lovely Chinese ambiance that transported us to a different place and time. The service staff were helpful, attentive, and ensured that our dining experience was exceptional. The manager even stopped by to say hello, which was a lovely touch and made us feel welcome. To top it off, the bar served an excellent selection of drinks, including Margaritas and rose wine, which complemented our meal perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend Lee Wing Wah for anyone seeking authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine in Chicago. From the food to the ambiance, and the friendly staff, this restaurant exceeded our expectations and was truly a highlight of our dining experiences.

I've been to this location many times before because food was always delicious and friendly service. Unfortunately they need to work on the staffing issues, they were not able to keep up with the holiday crowds this weekend. Each dish that we ordered was delicious but took way too long for Each one to come to our table. It was my husband and I we waited about 15 minutes to get a in door booth seat. Then once seated, we knew what we wanted so ordered with in the next 5 minutes when our server came to our table. There were two (2) separate groups of Over Two people each (one outside our window eating on the patio and the other right next to us inside.) Both tables were seated After us, and ordered after us, but still managed to receive their food before us and even left before we even got all of our food. Not cool. Hopefully others have better luck, and as I said, the FOOD it's self is delicious as long as they bring you everything your supposed to get. *one dish of crispy chicken was missing the crispy chips. *the Chicken lo mein barely had any chicken.

Very horrible service, I went out for a coffee run to my local Starbucks with my niece. I decided I wanted something light to eat first and hopefully we could find a lunch special close by, we decided to go to Lee Wing Wah. Upon entering, I wasn't greeted only asked if we were dining in or take out. I asked for the lunch menu instead because I wanted to make the decision based off what was being offered for lunch. I decided to leave and try two other places before making the decision, however we came back, and I told the host we were back, and we like to be seated with the lunch menu. The host said something to her peer in her language and her and another person looked at us. Weird I thought but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. When she came to the table, she said are you ready? She didn't offer any recommendations or suggestions; she didn't even ask how we were doing for the day. My niece ordered and before she can add to anything else the waitress immediately said is that it. The waitress did the same to me, but I interrupted her to say can you add extra gravy and make it extra spicy. The waitress said that is a light dish gravy and I replied I know but I wanted more. The waitress took my ordered with passive aggressive behavior. I wanted to order more but I figured she was in a hurry, and I didn't order additional. The waitress said some things to her peers in their language and they all started looking in our direction speaking back and forth with each other and not in English. At this point I knew I should have just left, but we stayed. The food came out and oh my God this was the smallest lunch plates we had ever seen. My niece had shrimp lobster sauce and she had 4 to 5 shrimp seriously and my Mongolian beef was all onions and oil with pieces of beef. I waited until she was finish with the other table and asked for some soy sauce, when I did that, she said something else to her peers and they look again. I stopped and asked was there a problem? Is everything okay? She replied yes, it's okay. I can tell she wasn't expecting me to say that. We didn't stay long, and I ask for the check. This is teaching me a lesson and the only thing I could think of is support my own and buy black. I'm tired of giving my hard-earned money to businesses who don't have love passion to serve. My advice is for anyone who doesn't like to serve is to get out the hospitality...

We love visiting Chinatown and we make it an adventure by using the Chicago Water Taxi to arrive. It always feels like we are on vacation. One of the problems we have is that we have found our favorite places in Chinatown, so we don't really venture out and try new places.

We were looking for desert, after dinner. We tried a bakery a few doors down from here and the cake was not very good. So we decided we needed a fresh watermelon drink to wash it down.

We walked up to check out the menu and a lady immediately opened a window and asked what we wanted. It was great and efficient. We did not even have to walk into the restaurant. We decided to grab a fresh watermelon smoothie. The lady went behind the bar and started making our drink.

We waited outside and our smoothie arrived very quickly. There is even a nice little shelf installed on the outside edge of the window. The prices were also great too. It was only $3 plus tax per smoothie. A few doors down there was another location and they were charging $4.45 plus tax per smoothie. That location was crowded. I wonder if these people knew they could save money a few doors down at this place.

The watermelon smoothie was really good. In fact, I don't think I've ever had a bad watermelon smoothie anywhere. It is always refreshing and delicious. So I am happy to say we have a new stop added on to our Chinatown visits. Plus you can't beat the price of the smoothies too.

Now it looks like this restaurant has a full menu. I can not comment on the food or what the experience is inside the restaurant. We only used the walk up window to grab a fresh fruit smoothie and that was a great experience. I'm glad we now have a...
