I’ve been to this salon twice. The first time went well, but the second time was absolutely horrible.

I got my hair dyed by Sam. We were retouching up my roots of my platinum blonde hair. For some reason, he decided to book with 2 other customers at the same time.

Resultantly, he did not pay close attention to my hair.

My scalp started to get itchy, but I figured it was normal since it was a pretty intense job going from dark roots — plus it was like that the last time. But he did not check on my hair for a very long time. Even his colleagues were eyeing my hair but didn’t say anything. Every time they walked past my chair, I could see them in the mirror staring at my head.

When he finally took a look at my hair, he was in shock. His colleagues stood next to him and looked shocked as well. He tugged on my hair and a ton of strands fell out. Then one of them said something to him in Mandarin or Cantonese, making fun of him and laughing in front of me.

Sam, holding onto the clump of burned off hair, threw it at his friend and responded back in annoyance. They did this ALL IN FRONT OF ME. Sam burned my scalp, and I lost a LOT of hair.

When I went to get my hair washed, the guy kept saying “oh my god oh my god oh my god.”

Literally just walked out of this place because experience was so bad. If I could give -5 stars, I would. I have never written a review but I feel compelled to share my experience getting your hair dyed here. All seemed to be going fine until an ammonia smelling chemical was used on my face and neck during rinse to remove hair dye from my skin. The fumes were so strong, they made me cough and my skin burn. As I sat there waiting to get my hair cut, I watched 2 people combing a woman's hair out that was so tangled and damaged from dye that pieces of hair were coming off. Concerned about my own skin and hair, I asked what product was used to remove the dye from my face and neck and they couldn't, wouldn't give me the name. Just said that they use it on nails and skin and would pay if I had to see a Dr. about the burning. I told them it wasn't about the money and that I was more concerned they're not using safe products. No longer trusting the place, skin burning, I left...

Staff was very nice and able to have us get in early. Since we live in Indiana there is an hour time difference which caused us to be early since I forgot about the time difference. I got my hair cut by Wynn. Let me tell you this is probably the best cut I have had in a while. He did such a great job. I will for sure be back and get more done. We also got our nails done. My mom went first and she got dipped and hers came out great. Since we came early her other client went before me which I was happy to see her gorgeous nails. I also got dipped mine also turned out great. I now want to go back and get something else done after seeing her other clients nails. They were so nice I want something like that.
