Nothing infuriates me more than a place that has an automatic 20% tip and doesn’t tell you. My sister was not made aware and sure enough we look at the receipt today and the server was tipped 40% total. The servers need to make the purchaser aware that this is there, rather than just running the card, flipping the screen, and saying “here.”
We also paid a $150 deposit before we came but it was not reflected in the total they charged her. They instead took off $120? This is so sketchy and we will unfortunately be calling today to discuss this, along with the 20% we weren’t made aware of.
We had a birthday so we ordered two bottles to split. We were surprised that the bottles didn’t even come on ice, and it was never brought when we asked. They didn’t even take the Tito’s tag around the neck off. lol.
Our room was extremely hot for the first 30~ minutes and while we were able to request AC and it got better, I feel like a room with 15 people should already have AC going when we’re paying that much. It was an absolute sauna for 30 minutes and we had to open the door to get some air which means we could hear the outside music since we were right by the bar.
The microphones straight up suck and are missing buttons. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn’t. I feel like a working mic is the bare minimum for a karaoke bar…
You are literally choosing from songs on YouTube by the way. Which is odd because I’ve been here before and they had a more robust system where you could queue songs.
The bar area is also playing YouTube songs which would sometimes cut out with a message like “there are too many locations using your account at the moment” and the music would stop for a few seconds. Really kills the vibe sometimes.
My sister ordered nachos that were literally around $19 and it was DORITOS!!! COOL RANCH DORITOS ON A PLATE!!! Yes they had salsa and toppings but they were literally DORITOS!!!! What the heck lol.
I feel bad because I recommended this place, and while we had fun singing, we shouldn’t have to be reviewing a receipt like this the next...
Read moreI would give zero star to it if I could. My friends and I (6 people in total) went there for a karaoke room. We called first before we go, asking if we can make a reservation, and the guy who picked up the call said we can go and there will be rooms available, no need to make any reservations. When we arrive there, the waitress tried to convince us to pay 170 dollars for 3 hours, drinks included. We think the normal rate 35 dollars without drink is fine for us, so we refused and ordered a small room. She was obviously not happy and told us that all small rooms are not available and we have to switch to a large room, which is more expensive (I don't know the price, did not ask). We were not very happy about it and we asked why they did not tell us on the phone before we came here. She said we must have called the wrong place. We told her that someone in this place picked up the call and promised that there will be rooms. Then we ask if we can use the bigger room without paying too much, since it is not our fault at beginning. She said let her talk to the manager. I highly doubt if this "manager" exists, because she went behind the bar and stand for a while, then walk around this place and came back to tell us there are no rooms available at all, no discount either. We asked where is the guy who picked up our phone call half an hour ago, she said we have to wait and she needs to ask every employee in this place. Obviously she was trying to waste our time and did not plan to serve us at all, so we left and went to another karaoke place nearby that night. Read more3 stars is honestly generous. Drinks were ok. Our hostess was awesome, I’m not sure of her name. But the manager made me never want to come back. Per our hostess when we arrived, the a/c was not working in our room so it was quite hot. She brought us ice and water and about 45 mins in said the a/c had just been fixed but we could leave the door open to get some airflow. After about 20 mins, the heat became unbearable soo I went to complain to the manager. Instead of apologizing and trying to fix the problem his response to me saying it was blazing hot in our room was “the a/c is working just fine, it just wasn’t turned on in your room when you came “. He then proceeded to ask how many people were in my room (there were 5 of us) and then proceeded to imply because it was soo much Body heat, that’s why it was so warm. Mind you, the room is supposed to hold up to 6 people😑. I asked for at least a fan if possible because it was making our experience non enjoyable and he just said “I’ll see what I can do” and just sat there. Finally after about 10-15 mins he came into the room to check something in the ceiling and low behold, it was still blazing hot in our room. I’m assuming the a/c still wasn’t working. We were then moved to another room that was much cooler and comfortable for the remainder of our session. They also offered us an extra 15 mins to makeup for the earlier situation I guess. I’m not sure as the manger never came back in, never apologized and we only saw the hostess for the rest of the night. Honestly, I would have preferred to deal only with her. She was much more pleasant. I’ve worked in customer service for years and have never dealt with a customer complaint...
