Passion House Coffee — Restaurant in Chicago

I wanted to go somewhere that wasn't Starbucks and found this hidden gem near the expressway and out of the hustle. They made a wonderful oat milk latte and had a small but equally delicious selection of pastries. They have their own coffee and a cooler full of cold teas and coffees to go. You will not go wrong.

Only one I thing I would say is I wish they had more outlets. I still need to be tethered due to tech limitations but I did find an outlet near the window at the end of a bench seat. There may be more. But just know that going in. It wouldn't stop me...

I got the latte with vanilla syrup and it was AMAZING!! The vanilla syrup (and all their other syrups) are house made! The espresso shot was pulled lovely with no bitterness, and the milk was steamed so silky smooth.

*if you are planning to do work here, just know that the music is a bit loud. It definitely adds to the vibe and ambiance, but just something to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise :)

I've been going here for over a year when i started a job just up the street and have nothing bad to say. Great little café with good food and a nice variance of coffee to try. Great service and attentive, kind employees. What a coffee shop should be! Be sure to buy their whole beans on Thursday with their great but one bag get a second at 50%. Highly recommended!

2025 update, still going here and they still have the same solid crew! Pay...
