I spent many of my college years working for Nordstrom, so I have a bit of a store loyalty, but love a deal, so the Rack often wins out. Now I have been going to this location for the 10+ years that I've lived in Chicago-proper. I went in to exchange two pairs of jeans that I recieved as a Xmas gift on 12/26 for different sizes. Now I understand this is a very stress-filled return day, but the sheer rudeness I was subjegated to was appauling.
Turns out the gift receipt I received wasn't the proper gift receipt, (again having worked for Nordstrom I know there are a multitude of ways to look up a transaction). So my friendly cashier had to call over his floor manager and that's where things took a turn. Sadly, that wrong piece of paper (which by all means looked like a gift receipt) seemed to warrent the floor manager make it seem like I was acting in malace, trying to pull "one over" on them, or deserved to be treated poorly.
She was extremely mean spirited, condescending, and just flat out rude about the whole exchange. On top of that she didn't even take the two seconds to realize I was exchanging for different sizes and buying even more stuff (kind of the point of those big return days). Eventually she was able to look up transaction via email and execute the return, so kuddos there. Though I have never seen someone spell out an email in just a mean spirited manner. But to instantly come at me with anger, put me on the defensive, and essentially accuse me of trying to steal is just saddening. Like, Nordstrom prides itself on customer service and a fluid return process, this is not the Nordstrom brand. I'm sure I threw some deserving attitude back her way, but this is not the Nordstrom experience I have come to except. Now I know, I don't look like a typical Nordys shopper, I have many tattoos and on that day I was wearing gasp sweatpants - so maybe she was just trying to judge a book by its cover, or she thinks folks with tattoos are lesser than... Either way, she has sullied that location and the store for me. Again, I get this day is super stressful, but in no way do customers deserve to be treated in such a manner. She should take a cue from her cashier and maybe try to be friendly or decent, and maybe represent the company...

Horrible customer service and honestly personality. I was given birthday present and of course I didnāt have tags or anything. When the shoe size didnāt fit I was trying to return and was laughed in my face told sorry this is our policy. I understand. But try to understand me. What am I supposed to do? I saw worn out Gucci there for freaking full price (well, discounted as this is discount store, but still $1200!!) for something that didnāt have its angles at all! And shoes that I tried out and couldnāt fit - I canāt return! How are they worn if I canāt even fit in them? Horrible experience. Instead of being listened to and offered ANY solution- even calling customer service- she called security on me!! Nice lady. Came in shocked and at least listened to me. Surprised that someone so unprofessional is put in charge. Put her back cashing out stuff if she is any good for this anyway. I run multibillion dollar store. As a store manager and I ABSOLUTELY cannot imagine talking even to a homeless person like that. Ridiculous. I would never hire her and I would NEVER do business with her even if she was medical professional and I needed medical attention. She made me feel little and uneducated. Please monitor who you hire and especially promote. My customers receive survey after every visit, so I absolutely CANNOT afford treating anyone like she treated me. I honestly donāt think management cares about reviews or customers opinion at all. But I hope other customers do. And they will read and bring their business to Nordstrom Rack in downtown. Thank you for your attention. Hope your...

This brand is NOTORIOUS for causing falls, I heard that from.my lawyer friend who saw me fall up the stairs this am AND from.another woman in the store! That's twice in a few hours of proof of dangerous products. Legally, the STORE, as well as the manufacturer is liable. And Ugg HAS been sued before for this problem with the soles.
They said they were worn. Well, duh! How does one find out the product hurts you if you don't USE IT? I can't even GIVE THEM to someone else, lest THEY get hurt as I did!
I'm not happy with their products lately. Lots of weird fitting issues. Binding shoulders so you can't drive a car wearing it. Shoes that are completely cashed in a few months (gym shoes that were over 120.00!). I have many shoes, don't need to wear the same ones. I spend an inordinate time shaving sweaters for lint balls every 5 minutes or tossing out shoes that wear out way too fast for what they cost.
I spent a ton of money for Black Friday. Not too late to send it all back. Over THEIR 50.00 shoes that caused me injury. Brilliant, guys! Penny wise and pound stupid, as they say.
I also put back a winter coat and a shirt at that point...smart business, huh? And one wonders WHY retail is collapsing?? Hmm. Let's hire an expensive consultant to tell us. Meanwhile, your former customers are telling you RIGHT HERE.
A FORMER long-time customer and Google reviewer with over 10k readers, btw. Watch them.go the way of Sears...mark my words.
GOOD service would be a FULL refund, and throwing those dangerous boots...
