So I couldn't decide if I wanted a Pat's Special that come with sausage, onions, peppers and mushrooms OR DOUBLE sausage. Then it struck me....I'll get both! This is half of each that is left after I took this photo. See this location has personal sizes for usually under 9 bucks each. That gets you a free can of soda too. So for 20 bucks I didn't have to decide. I hot both. Now full disclosure this NOT THE ORIGINAL PAT'S. They are up near Lincoln Park. However this place licenses the name and formula for the crust so it's a close second. YES there is a formula to a crispy light strong enough to hold toppings crust. Pat's has perfected that crust. The thinnest crisp crust allowed to support topping. I took my picky brother here. He ordered double sausage AND pepperoni. I was worried the crust wouldn't support that weight but I was way wrong. For me a pizza should stand on a CRISP CRUST not piled high with sauce that makes everything soggy (cough cough Lou M and big G on a bad day). A crust should crack and crunch when you bite into it without crumbling. They do that here. I will not down YOUR FAVORITE but this is mine. Lincoln Park doesn't do personal size, is far and the hours aren't really conducive to anyone not in that neighborhood but it's a great date place unlike the State street local, more designed to grab and go! So if you are in the south loop, hankering for a decent ZAA, stop by for a personal or whatever size you like. Soda can not shown, I drank them but if you must know I had Root Beer and Ginger Ale. Perfect choices for me when no beer Available which YOU CAN GET in Lincoln Park.

Too many mushrooms! TLDR: get the fried ravioli and not Pat’s Special Upon recommendation, we went to Pat’s Pizza for their tavern style pizza; a thin crust pizza with green bell peppers, sausage, onions, and mushrooms, the pizza that real Chicago folks eat. This is a very small place, only counter space to eat if you were to stay. The fried ravioli appetizer was incredible! We devoured 6 pillowy, cheesy ravioli with marinara sauce, an Italian version of pico de gallo, and a squeeze of lemon. We ate the entire order on our walk back to the hostel! While we like each of the toppings that the special includes, the combination and amount made for a pretty wet pizza and the only flavor to come through was mushroom. Every bite was mushroom. I started removing mushrooms from my slices just to see if I could taste something else. I would give place only 3 stars if I wasn’t still thinking about going back to order more fried raviolis. No bathroom available.

If you don’t come to this place for where it’s at, you come for what it is — phenomenal pizza. Pat’s Pizza on Clark Street is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates a true Chicago classic. This isn’t your trendy, Instagrammable spot — it’s the real deal. The kind of place where the focus is on quality, tradition, and flavor.

Pat’s serves up traditional tavern-style pizza, the way it’s meant to be — thin, crispy crust, square-cut, and always cooked to perfection. The ingredients are fresh, the cheese is rich and flavorful, and the sauce has just the right tang. Every bite hits with that nostalgic, honest-to-goodness pizza shop vibe that’s becoming harder to find these days.

The atmosphere? Casual, no-frills, and exactly what you’d expect from a neighborhood staple that’s been doing it right for years. It’s the kind of place where locals go because they know — and if you’re not a local, once you try it, you’ll wish you were.

Don’t sleep on Pat’s. Whether you’re picking up, dining in, or grabbing a late-night bite, this is a must-visit for pizza lovers. 4.9 out of 5 stars — only because 5 feels too final for something this...

My sad experience with my very first time ordering to my last time ordering. I called and placed an order at 10:24 AM with a very polite and great customer service named Abhishek and requested it to be delivered at 11:45 AM. To my surprise the delivery man call me at 11:15 AM letting me know he's 1 minute away. I told him that it was 30 minutes early but, I know this wasn't his fault. So I called the restaurant back to asked why my order was early. The gentleman that answered the phone stated to yell at me and stated that I should refuse the food and send it back. Then telling me that my company always does this to them and my response that this was first time that I ever ordered from Pat's Pizza. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was the manager. I told him that he was being very disrespected and rude to me and I couldn't believe that a management would speak to anyone this way. I stated I will never order from Pat's Pizza again. He responded sarcastically by saying...
