I was really hopeful for this new place in place of Starbucks. I also love small businesses and try to support them as much as I can. God knows we need more of them in the South Loop. The Barista also said that they open at 6:00 a.m. which is absolutely fantastic and I was planning on coming here every morning before I start my day.

This said, a coffee shop has one job to do - sell good coffee. I ordered a large regular brew. It was so weak, that you could barely even taste any coffee at all. I mean, gas station coffee is stronger than this. I understand inflation and cost savings, but not on your core product. This coffee was $4.50 to boot. Save on packaging and stirrers, but for God's sake put some beans in your coffee. You're a coffee shop.

I really hope the ownership takes this into consideration and improves the quality of their core product.

UPD: I will stop by a couple of times next week to give it another shot.

UPD2: I didn't ask for the gift card the owner graciously offered to truly test if the quality had improved. Sadly it didn't - same cup of water...

Today, I decided to stop by Sip & Savor for the very first time and needless to say, I will NOT be returning for a second sip of disappointment! I ordered a regular Chai Latte, and it tasted like a cup full of cavities (extremely sweet) and I paid $6.00 for an 8oz cup that only contained 4 ounces of Chai Latte the other 4 ounces was foam. No wonder why I was their only customer this morning. UPDATE: For whatever reason, I’m only able to edit this initial review, or delete it completely, and unfortunately, I can’t negate the initial unpleasant experience that took place at your coffee shop. After a plethora of email exchanges between Whitney and I regarding whether customers should share their experience, In which they have right to share Verses contacting management first, I decided to give Sip and Savor another chance. I made a second trip to pick up a new drink and a $15 gift card. Hopefully my WILLINGNESS to give businesses a second chance to make a first impression will encourage others to...

absolutely have to give a shout-out to Sip N Savor for being an all-around fantastic spot. In a neighborhood where coffee prices seem to be constantly climbing, their $1 espresso shots are an absolute game-changer. Seriously, when other places are charging three or even four times that amount, it's clear Sip N Savor genuinely cares about providing value to its customers.

Beyond the incredible price point, what truly sets them apart is their personable customer service. It's refreshing to be greeted with a smile and feel like a valued customer, not just another transaction.

And for an added bonus that speaks volumes about their attention to detail: they provide lids for their espresso shots! It might seem like a small thing, but it's a huge convenience that surprisingly few neighboring coffee shops offer. It's the little touches like this, combined with their amazing prices and top-notch service, that make Sip N Savor...

Your Local Chicagoan Cook is back!! Honestly i would give a 4.5 / 5 Chai Latte ((regular = small)) + tip = $8 Here at Roosevelts Sip & Savor, I was waiting on a few friends and found a local new gem. This lovely new coffee shop gives a few new flavors and fond old ones. I, of course, chose one of my favorites a Chai Latte. Nice and frothy with a choice of milk preference, which surprised me a little. Though the service was great and friendly. I'll definitely be stopping by if I'm ever on the Roosevelt stop again. So grab your Donuts at Stan's or Sweet bean. Then head on over to Sip & Savor for your great Coffee that you love! I took off half a star due to not a great food choice. Yet they made up for it with a great drink selection. Though perhaps Chicago can figure out if yalls favorite drinks are up to par here.

My first visit to Sip & Savor and it didn’t disappoint. Black owned coffee shop with five locations in Chicago. I got a caramel latte sugar free and dairy free (oat milk). The barista was very friendly and recommended this latte to me. They also have quite a few baked goods options. There’s some seating indoors and they seem to also have a private outdoor space. Pricing is fair considering custom milk and flavoring options are inclusive in price. Definitely seems like a spot someone could work from or stop by for a coffee. Thanks so much!
