Sushi Plus Rotary Sushi Bar South Loop — Restaurant in Chicago

I've been to many of the Sushi+ locations both in Chicago and Aurora. This one, like the others, is an enjoyable experience. The lineup on the rotary was wider than the usual Chicago locations including items like Taiyaki.

Since the restaurant soft launched as of October 2nd, some items were missing including Cheesecake and Alcohol.

The staff is very nice and friendly as well.

The store was originally going to open as a Shabu Plus, but was changed to sushi a few weeks back. As such, some of the stuff is misbranded, but they are sister brands. This doesn't lower the experience, but it is a neat little fun fact.

My favorite product that they carry is their Jasmine Green Tea. It's a perfect cup of tea and they always bring out a whole pot. Worth a try if you enjoy tea at all.

Overall, I'd give them a try. Since they're right on the edge of the South Loop area, it's a close walk for many who live nearby and the sushi is always much better than going to any of the other Japanese...

Happy to have a fun and new spot in the neighborhood. Clean and bright space. Food was decent and in line with the other Sushi+ around the city. I will say that the servers are lovely and attentive. We did have an issue with the host, we noticed that other guests had a loyalty rewards card and they were able to spin the wheel for rewards. After we finished dining we requested a loyalty card with the host The host told us that they don't give out the cards and we have register online for them. After paying our check, I check online and sure enough, there's no online registration for the rewards--the restaurant, as I suspected, is supposed to give a card to you. Spectacular experience. We live in the west loop so this location is very close and easily accessible for us. When we walked in the door we were warmly greeted and sat immediately.
