January 2021- 𝗡𝗲𝘄 🧋🍰 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵 There was one day I walked back home from work and I REALLY craved boba but didn't want to go to Chinatown. So I searched "bubble tea" on google, found @teamobobabar in their downtown locatin. And the rest was history I've been here countless of times and I'm so happy that they opened a new location in Chinatown! They have signature te'amo drinks that include rose 🌹 syrup. So Ive ordered their te'amo matcha latte 🍵 this time around (and te'amo classic milk tea normally) Most recently I've tried something new, their Thai iced tea (just because it's hard to find good ones in Chicago). And wow it was perfect! I ordered the volcano 🌋, it had thai tea, boba (of course), cream cheese moustache 🧀, and oreo crumbs. If you haven't tried the moustache, you should! It's a balance of sweet and salty with every sip you take! They have all the boba selections that the downtown location has & different cakes too : sea salt chocolate oreo 🍫, strawberry shortcake 🍰 (japanese style), and bubble tea lava cake We got the bubble tea lava cake and it was 💣This is their soft opening, and they'll have their official one mid January Thank you for having me @teamobobabar , now I'll have a new boba spot to go after my chitown meals 😋 . Edit: Went back again to try their new mochi donut. Got their green tea flavor and WOW it was so good! Edit January 2023 🚨NEW MENU ITEMS Te'amo is my favorite boba bar in Chicago and they now have coconut jellies and mochi donuts! (Sponsored) 🥥Coconut Jelly - their jellies are made with real coconut milk. If you get the Ube flavored one which I loved, they use 100% Ube paste in it with no artificial ingredients. other flavors: origin, whole coconut, coconut double (with coconut water jelly) 🍩Mochi Donut - their mochi donuts are made fresh in the morning so make sure to get there early afternoons it comes with a premium chocolate glaze. The store managers face was Ube! It was delicious. Other flavors: matcha, Oreo, churro, dark chocolate, strawberry OVERALL HIGHLIGHTS: ✅Organic & Natural Ingredients : they use great organic ingredients that are natural with no artificial additives. teas are made with loose leaves & not powder ✅ Good to Nature : they have a jar return program (10 coconut jelly jars returned = 1 coconut jelly free for you). Their straws are made from biodegradable bamboo fiber. Spoons are also biodegradeable and change color when eating cold items! ✅Shop online & grab in-store: when I used to live downtown in streeterville, I'd go on their website, buy boba and pick it up in their downtown location (above the large Nordstrom on 4/f) . It's so easy ! ✅Great Boba Flavors : they have my favorite flavors that are just made so well with the best balance : Volcano (thai tea + cream + Oreo cheese foam) & cookie coffee smoothie ✅Range of Desserts: they have a large menu including mochi, ice, fruit smoothies, tea, fluffy chiffon cakes, etc.

First off I wanna say I love their te amo milk tea. My sister in law and I always love coming here. Today with it being Christmas we were happy to see that they were open, but today they really disappointed us. We were lucky to get in before they started to turn people away because they were closing. I decided to use their kiosk to place my order while trying to put in our order one of the employees the girl with short hair and glasses yelled at us and rushed us to get us out of the store. Again I understand it’s Christmas and they were getting ready to close but we weren’t even there for like 3 min tops trying to put our order in without any mistakes and there was still a whole other family there sitting down and talking and she didn’t tell them anything. I couldn’t believe that she yelled at us out of no where. The other two girls working there were nicer and patient with us and were more professional than that other girl. I will most definitely be calling tomorrow to speak to the manager to file a complaint. I definitely don’t wanna stop going there, but if that’s the way that they treat their customers I definitely will let everyone know to not come here at least to this location. I’m so...

Came to order drinks at the kiosks. All the employees were professional and nice when they assisted us with our drinks. However, the reason for the 2 stars is they got one of our drinks wrong. There were specific instructions for no Boba in one of the drinks.

When I received the drink that was supposed to have no Boba, I reported it to the nearest employee. That same employee told me that they could not take the drink back, but they can make a brand new drink without the Boba. After being assured they would make a brand new drink, I trusted them to follow through.

I was observing them rectify the drink mistake, however I was disappointed with the action that was taken. All the workers did was pour the existing mistake drink into a new cup and make sure the Boba was not in the new cup.

They did not take into account that the customer could be allergic to tapioca, and it was unsanitary to pour an existing mistake drink that a customer touched into another cup, especially during COVID season.

They need to re-train their workers to read drink tickets carefully, to not assume all customers want Boba, and ensure to make brand new drinks to rectify drink mistakes especially during...
