Well you can't leave a 0 review... but they deserve one! Here is a rundown of the chico wild wings experience.
Neida was our waitress
She did not know the menu and did not know what a mudslide was. After we showed her the picture in the menu with the description she then said that the drink was non-alcoholic lol. There was some craft beers on the specialty menu, and something called not your father's Mountain Brew (an alcoholic version of a Mountain Dew soda) our waitress did not know what I was talking about and again I had to point out a picture in the menu. Funny thing is when I received the drink it was not what I had ordered even though I showed her a picture of it and read the description to her.
Server then knocked my napkin off our table onto the floor and then put it back on the tabt to us, as if that was ok thought that was acceptable. That is very unsanitary!
We ordered 19 min after being seated because they forgot about us. The serve took our order (2x $14 pulled pork sandwiches and side order of mac and cheese. However neida said my girlfriend cannot get mac and cheese with the order? Then she said the same thing to me! (I'm not worried about extra changes miss...still said no you cant get that with your order??? Bring me some damn mac and cheese and upsell your products! Who trained you neida?
What a horror show so far... but wait it was only just beginning.
Appetizer came out 13 min after ordering and before the drinks. Still no new napkin or silverware also ... lmao!
Drinks came 18 min after ordering and she forgot the two waters, the new napkin, the silverware for the table, Oh... and the drink I received was not what I ordered! I received a alcoholic rootbeer instead of the mountain dew brew hahahaha.
Food finnaly came 37 min after ordering and it tasted very bad. I believe this pulled pork was cooked about a week ago and tossed to the back of the walk in freezer for a while. Their pulled pork tasted like it had been frozen and then microwaved. The meat was rubbery , flavorless, burned, and looked a little skimpy for a $14 pulled pork sandwich on the special menu. This is not worth 14$. The chef obviously doesn't take any pride in the presentation of their food as my sandwich was halfway off of the bread when it arrived at my table. I took a picture and posted it in this review. The two pictures I posted are exactly what my food looked like when it arrived at my table. I did not move anything on my plate except for the picture of the open-faced sandwich showing the disgusting contents inside. This was not edible. My girlfriend and I walked out of the restaurant and did not pay anything for our meal because of how poor the service was and how disgusting the food was. It's funny because the pulled pork sandwich was on the special menu and recommended by the employee.
This is the second time this has happened!! Shame on me for giving them a second chance! I will not set foot in this place again!
The first time I went here I ordered a draft beer that had particles of mold floating in it. You can clearly smell the mildew and taste it in the draft beer lines! This is why I ordered a bottle of beer the second time I went here to eat but they couldn't even bring me what I ordered.
The restaurant was not even busy as the students are not in town because it's summer. I think our waitress must've started happy hour little bit early that day because I don't think she was present or coherent.
I absolutely love Buffalo Wild Wings... in the Bay Area and Sac! Usually corporate chains have very high standards but the chico location lacks basic management slills,( and they obviously need to train their employees a lot better or get rid of the ones that drink on the job.
Get it together Chico BWW! Have some pride in your work people. It will show and it will go a long way. Success is not a destination but rather a journey. Don't worry Chico Wild Wings you might make it there one day. Practice makes perfect, just don't practice with my money or...
Read moreBuffalo wings are a classic American comfort food, and I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Buffalo Wings restaurant in Chico, California. This local establishment has gained a reputation for serving up delicious wings, and my experience there did not disappoint.
One of the standout features of Buffalo Wings is the variety of wing flavors and heat levels they offer. Whether you're a fan of mild, sweet and tangy, or crave the fiery heat of the spiciest sauces, this place has you covered. The menu is extensive, with flavors ranging from classic buffalo to unique and creative concoctions. I appreciated the wide range of choices, which cater to different tastes, from traditionalists to those seeking a more adventurous wing experience.
I ordered a mix of their classic hot buffalo and garlic parmesan wings, and I was pleased with both choices. The hot buffalo wings had a perfect balance of spicy heat and tangy flavor, with a satisfyingly crispy exterior and tender meat. The garlic parmesan wings were a delightful change of pace, with a rich, buttery, and garlicky sauce that paired wonderfully with the savory parmesan. The wings were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were well-developed, making for a mouthwatering experience.
The restaurant's atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a quick lunch, a family dinner, or a gathering with friends to watch a game on one of their big-screen TVs. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable.
In addition to their exceptional wings, Buffalo Wings offers a range of other menu items, from burgers and sandwiches to salads, which makes it a versatile choice for a variety of preferences. I sampled their loaded cheese fries, and they were the perfect complement to the wings, with a generous portion of crispy fries topped with melted cheese, bacon bits, and green onions.
The prices at Buffalo Wings are reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. The portions are generous, and it's an excellent value for your money. They also offer special deals and promotions on certain days of the week, which can make it even more affordable.
Overall, my visit to Buffalo Wings in Chico left me thoroughly satisfied. If you're a wing enthusiast, this restaurant is a must-visit. The diverse range of wing flavors, the friendly atmosphere, and the overall quality of the food make it a great spot to indulge in some mouthwatering wings. Whether you're a local looking for your go-to wing joint or a visitor passing through Chico, I highly recommend giving Buffalo Wings a try for a satisfying and flavorful...

We called in advance to check which beers were included in the 5$ pitcher deal, and we were told via phone by an employee Miller Light, Bud Light and Coors Light were part of the deal. COOL... we decide to go because it's a good deal and we wanted to enjoy the game before traveling back home to Redding.
We get there and the waitress tells us that Coors light is not part of the deal. We explain to her that we had called and checked prior to going. She says she will go and ask her manager... She comes back and says the same thing, and then says "If you'd like to talk to my manager I can go get her". We ask her if she could please get her manager for us.
Let me just say the waitress was a breath of fresh air compared to her manager, which I was told her name was Bree/Bri.
We are then approached by the most erragant, boastful, unprofessional female. She comes up marching to our table with attitude in her face, doesn't even introduce herself or asks us what the problem was and says "Manager? I heard you called a manager." We tell her, 'yes, we called earlier and they told us Coors light was part of the 5$ pitcher deal'. She looks at us kinda annoyed and says "No, we don't do that here. You said you talked to me but i havent spoke with anybody. If you want Coors you'll have to pay regular price". We tell her, we never said we had spoke to a manager we had just said we had called in advance to ask what beers were part of their deal, it wasnt our fault we were given wrong information.
Needless to say, after she told us we could pay full price she walked away, and said nothing else.
Worst management ever. We were not expecting her to give us the beer for free, just that what we were told was honored. Or, at the very least her acknowledging they dropped the ball and apologized for the miss information . Such lack of respect. Especially when we took time out of our day to call prior to making the decision of going. My time is just as important as her, and I hate wasting my time because that's the 1 thing you can NEVER get back .
BWW, you'd be wise to implement better managing skills...
