Finally got around to visiting this establishment yesterday with my Wife, primarily for Happy Hour. I mean, how can you go wrong with 1/2 off drinks and appetizers...which we went for. Seating inside was immediate, and once we placed our order, it was a matter of minutes before our appetizers arrived. We ordered (pictured left to right), the Carnitas Pork Tacos, Rolled Chicken Tacos, Garlic Fries, and the Ahi Poke Mini Tostadas. Every dish was hot and fresh, with the exception of the Poke, and stacked with fresh ingredients. The accompanied sauces (sweet and smoky salsa for the tacos...pineapple salsa for the Ahi Poke) were extremely tasty and fresh as well. Plenty, and I mean PLENTY, of fresh garlic was piled on the fries, which added a sharp contrast to the tastes of our other dishes. We both savored the texture of the Ahi, which just about melted in our mouths, and relished the Pork Tacos, which had so much meat you couldn't pick it up to eat them. The rolled Tacos were basic, but the salsa made up for it. More than enough food for 2 people, but we still tried a dessert, which turned out to be the Lemon Raspberry cheesecake. I turned out to be just that... Graham Cracker crust, Lemon cake, Raspberry spread, Cream cheese icing, Lemon chocolate shavings, whipped cream, and a "Strawberry" slice. It looked OK, tasted ok, but it wasn't a true cheesecake by any standard. I did mention it to the server and manager (both very friendly and understanding) and was comped for it with an apology (which we didn't need or want! 🙂) An overall great experience, one we will go back for to have a larger meal. Inside the restaurant, it's noisier than outside... we'll sit on the patio for a more quiet experience...

Have to see to believe. It seems like the restaurant was divided into sections and handed off to different designers who were challenged with coming up with opposing ideas. The women's restroom inside is a garish attempt at plastic pop art, while the women's restroom outside has no ventilation and is essentially a dull box. The patio continues the chaos with tables that limit movement (not wheelchair friendly), a massive bar that is overly lit with LEDs (not good for epileptics), music loud enough to overpower loud conversation, and finally a televion squatting in the corner that is so difficult to avoid being blinded by with commercials because they just play whatever channels they want to on it. Sports, the Bachelor, you name it. As for the food, well, they raised the prices but not the quality. The food is good, but each dish just barely misses being great. Pictured is the salmon bowl with stir fry veggies, rice and fried jalapeños: the peppers were dry as bones, the rice dry and flavor less, and the vegetables were oily. I would have liked to mix it up a bit to try and spread the flavors around, but the trendy bowl prevented that. Also pictures are the brisket tacos; the brisket was in very small chunks, and not cooked like any brisket I have ever had. It resembled cat food. But the flavor was nice. The waitress was kind and courteous, but mostly non existant because, as she informed us, there was a large party that was seated before us so she could not take care of us and advised us to "get your orders in as soon...

Now this is a 5 star spot I loved it, the food the atmosphere, quiet inside and sports bar outside it's perfect for a family dinner, or a quiet date night even a boys/girls night. Food was prime and service from waitstaff was great. We drive almost 2 hours just to eat here, and for me to try it for the first time. My only true complaint was some of the staff was less than kind, it started with the judgement from the hostess, my partner and I may not always look extremely well put together but when you work 10 hour days and need to live up to your pay grade you don't always have the time to look the most out together. Regardless you should never treat someone as less because of how they dress or look. And secondly, I called on 10/10/2020 to find out if anyone had found and turned a wallet in from the night before 10/9/2020 the girl who answered the phone was not only short and rude when she answered but she didn't even bother to check or even pretend, she answered immediately back in the snottiest voice, 'no, no one turned anything in' like within seconds of me asking her. I hope you learn what true customer service is, and how to treat people with decency and basic human kindness. Regardless of how someone may dress, I could buy my meal and the party next to ours twice over. I'm so glad we found the wallet in our car a few hours after that phone call. So luckily no one had turned it in.

This spot is still awesome, food is delicious, but I do think some of your staff could use some extra training when it comes to...

Had a great experience. Rustic/Modern bustling atmosphere with friendly staff. Seated almost immediately. Ordered an Asian Chicken Salad, a Chicken Quesadilla, and a Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl. Wait staff brought us the wrong salad. Which happens when the restaurant is busy but then it took the kitchen another 15 minutes to correct the order. If it wasn't for that unfortunate hiccup it would have been an otherwise perfect brunch. They have a very extensive drink selection and an amazing patio seating area with a outdoor bar and a giant flat-screen television for watching as a group! Food was cooked to perfection. Tasted great. Criticisms: The Mixup should've been caught at the pass but was corrected eventually. The salad had a disproportionate amount of noodles to greens. The Rice Bowl had more vegetables than Rice. These are nitpicking but to get that perfect score there can't be any problems. I do my best to be as fair as possible in any of my reviews. The meal cost around 63$ for 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. So a little heavy on the wallet but if you want quality you gotta pay for it. Thank you Pour House for a great brunch. We look forward to our next visit. 13.5/15 Would recommend 👌
