I love MOD!! This is one of my favorite restaurants. With the reasonable price and delicious food, it's almost impossible to not like it. MOD Pizza is in a strip mall, and they do have parking, with disabled parking, but the parking close by tends to be full. I would park closer to the movie theater, because unless you get lucky, especially during dinner time, the parking lot will be full. I went on a Friday night where there was a couple football games at the local high school (PV), which was a mistake, because it was so busy. Luckily, I had thought to order right before I left my house, so we did not have to wait in line to order. The web page where you order is very user-friendly. Even with ordering ahead, though, it still took a long time to get our food. I submitted the order at around 5:50 pm, and we got our order at around 6:15. Again, they were slammed, so I'm not blaming them at all. Just warning future people who may be in a rush during this time. The service was good as well. After I got there, because I didn't know where we were in the line. The staff was friendly, and made sure to check each time if our pizzas were done. I actually felt bad about bothering them, because they were so busy, but I didn't want my order to accidentally get forgotten about, for the same reason. This was only my second time going, the first being in July, and I was still not too sure about the service. You can customize your own pizza, and you can make it however you'd like. We ordered 3 11-inch pizzas, and we all loved ours! There are many veggies and crust options to cater to many dietary needs, and there are so many cheese, meat, and sauce options as well. Each pizza was less than $11, so it was also a very reasonable price, especially considering what you get. My favorite part, however, was the crust. I'm not a fan of thick crust, but here, all their pizza have thin crust, which still hold all the toppings; they don't get soggy or fall from the weight. Lastly, the drinks. I loved my marion lemonade. It was purple (my favorite color 💜), and sweet. It had a distinct flavor as well. Another member in my party got the carmel pear iced tea, but he personally wasn't a huge fan of it. He did drink it all, though. Overall, this is a fantastic place to go eat!

Mod Pizza can be, literally, Hit or Miss... depending on whom is working the production line. I, and my Wife, took in Mod on a Sunday afternoon and only waited about 2 minutes in line. Mod is great for the simple fact you can buy a pizza, whether it be a special or of your own design, and "Customize" and add as many toppings as you like... all for the same price! Once it's prepared, you wait roughly 5-6 minutes while it cooks in their specialized pizza oven. Once out... it's just the eating. The pizza's always hot, fresh, and made YOUR way. On our recent visit, however, the production assist forgot my pizza sauce, AND what went on my pizza (I had to remind Her 4X what I had ordered). Other than that, it was a normal experience at Mod. The HIGHLIGHT of any visit there, for me, is the Loganberry Lemonade (pictured). We will continue to patronize this establishment, as they are better than most in town, in both service, taste, and quickness.

This place has the most delicious gluten free pizza. You can pick any pizza from the menu and they will make it gluten free for you. It costs 2 dollars extra to make your pizza crust gluten free. I like that you can also choose your toppings instead of choosing from regular menu. You can get any toppings without extra charge. It is awesome you can have all kinds of meat if you wish. If you feel like healthier or on carb free/ketogenic diet, you can also get salad version with all the pizza toppings you like. The vegetables are fresh but not soggy at all, which makes pizza taste great. The gluten free crust was made of tapioca flour and it was surprisingly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.

Sooooo Good!!! Update: The food is still sooo good. But I gave less stars for a few reasons.

  1. A lot of the employees can be rude & are way more stingy with toppings than they used to be. They act like I'm bothering them when I ask for more, & will put 1-2 pieces of artichokes or pineapple or the tiniest pinch of cheese. Like their doing it sarcastically which is frustrating becuz then I have to ask again & again.
  2. I've noticed the artichoke heart are no longer hearts, even tho they advertise Artichoke "Hearts". The heart is the yummy meat of the artchke in the middle that you peel the leaves around it to get to. Yes, you can & I do scrape or eat off part of the leaves where there is some of the meat, but not all of it is meant to be eaten, it gets gross & is hard to chew. Sadly that's all they seem to have & put on my pizza lately. Yucky! It used to be a mix, chunks of heart & leaves. Then it wasn't so bad.
  3. I have never ordered online, or even on the phone & actually got close to what I wanted. It's so bad I refuse to order online so I can never get delivered & I love across town so it sucks!! One time I was told they don't read the extra instructions closely or pay attention to much else & they use bare minimum toppings when making online & phone orders. The customer can't see & usually just deals with it. I can't just "deal" with it tho. I always ask for extra toppings. I really really like them, don't want my pics to have barely any, I would even pay extra if needed to get the amount of toppings & quality that I used to get from Mods. Last thing, I know some employees will say they can't of to many toppings "it won't cook right". To that I say; I know what I'm asking for can & does cook right becuz I used to eat there at least once a wk & 99% if the time it was perfect, but that was yrs ago. Now it's 90% of the time I have issue around the toppings & wrkrs attitude towards me regarding them, & I'm not rude, I always say please & thank you, I smile & Have a great day or evening. I am nice, so to be rude to me (anyone) is...

Came here tonight after swim lessons for my little one to get an easy meal. We have gone to several Mod Pizzas throughout Northern California. We come once or twice a month.

Today halfway through our meal my child wanted to draw something from a book and when we pushed the napkin and chili/parm shakers to the side to make room there was what looked like mouse poop on the table.

I picked it up with a napkin and went to ask for a manager. I was very discrete as I wasn't 100% sure if it was indeed a mouse poop so I open the napkin and show Thomas the manager that was directed to me. He immediately grabbed the napkin from my hand and closed it back up and said thank you for bringing it to their attention. He said he would let the general manager know. And that was it. No offer to clean our table. I sat back down and seeing as we were halfway through our meal we continued because we were both starving but were completely grossed out.

I then saw Thomas walking around wiping off all the other tables. Still did not ask if we wanted ours wiped down. He said that he hoped it was a burnt piece of pizza. Needless to say I was more irritated after being disgusted that no cleanliness measures were taken.

I did not take a picture before asking for a manager and since he grabbed it and closed the napkin so soon I guess we will never know. I will however be notifying the health department just in case. They are the professionals and can inspect the facility properly.

We won't be coming back because lets be honest the customer service has never been a strong point but after this encounter with the...
