Panda Express — Restaurant in Chico

Fresh Chinese food. Panda express is dine in or take out. Even drive thru. Clean and fresh eatery. A fast Chinese food with today's theme of ultra fresh healthy cusine. Always busy. About any hour of the day. The food is precooked before you order, but made up in small batches and fresh up hot. Near cooked to order. I have yet to receive any servings less than fresh up. The typical mainstays are on the menu, like, fried rice and chow mein. Broccoli Beef, mushroom chicken. As well as some unique dishes that are Panda Express exclusive. Everything is finely seasoned. Not saying sparse on flavor. But perfection to the intended taste. Few places serve chow me in that I would eat or enjoy. However they make great chow mein. Not over cooked soggy noodles soaked in gravy. And unlike many Chinese restaurants, nothing is overly greasy. Although this is a fast food drive thru type place, When in the mood for chinese food I would prefer Panda Express over most Chinese restaurants just about anywhere. San Francisco China Town included. That may sound cringy I know. You be your own judge and try it. Pricing is reasonable so you have not much to loose if you don't agree. And that is my honest acessment. There is indoor seating as well as some outdoor seating for fair...

Rating 2 stars because of the service, The food is nothing to write home about, but it is quick in and out and close to work to be able to get back in time before my lunch ends and see it as a cheap better alternative than the other fast food restaurants in the area.

That being said, the reason for 2 stars is because either their staff in the drive through doesn't care about their customers, or just don't care what their customers are asking for. Considering I eat here 2 out of 5 days a week and sometimes on the weekend for dinner, you would think that when you order chopsticks, that they would provide them right? Wrong. I've gotten chopsticks with my order only once out of the last 10 times I have ordered them and is becoming very frustrating that I have now resorted to asking twice and double checking with the drive-thru attendant, only to pull up to the window to find no chopsticks with my order and then have to hold up the line and wait for them to come back....just to give me the chopsticks I had already...

The person taking the order Cristina (not the sweet person at the drive through window so excuse me if I got name /person wrong) your customer service skills need to be reevaluated. Sorry you’re having a bad day but for you to be rude to people for no reason is unacceptable. Not only that but I got my son a Cub meal with orange chicken & steamed rice. You must have purposely skipped adding a full serving of chicken(5 small tiny pieces doesn’t mean anything) the apple crisps and fortune cookie, on purpose because why? Because we didn’t hear each other over the loud indoor and outdoor noises with your mono town negative voice? Please refund my card. Thank you!

Panda is EXTREMELY GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL other than this incident I / we haven’t had any issues. They are busy busy so be patient when it comes to drive thru folks no need to...
