It's okay. Goodwill is over priced on many things, especially if they think it's a name brand. Today I picked up an older very faded, plain black tank top, no picture design, no words on, with wide arm holes, it was priced $9.99. I asked an employee if it was a mistake, she looked at it & told me "No, it's Victoria Secret Pink". So because it's an old Victoria Secret Pink tank top, it cost that much! Victoria Secret has sales all the time, for really cute tank tops, t-shirts panties, bras & more, & then it's brand new, but the prices are about the same for a lot of items. I've gotten my kid a bra from VS Pink for $15, they're $9.99 at Goodwill, it doesn't make sense.. However they have decent deals on other items so it's whatever. I will say this, I WOULD NEVER DONATE HERE, THE CEO IS RICH & There are places in this town you can donate to, such as "show love thrift store on 16th & Park, or even The Jesus Center & The Homeless Shelter, those places really do help out locally, & don't have rich higher ups like goodwill &...
Read moreThis is not the North Valley Plaza we Chicoans grew up knowing. As a matter of fact, we don’t even have anything that even resembles a mall near here. Sadly our mall hanging days are a thing of the past. It looks like a “marketplace” is our future. Nowhere to hang but a parking lot filled with homeless, out of towners and beggars. Not our typical Friday night hotspot. The days of the department store is over. No more Sears or Gottschalks, entertainment and shows. Gone is the merry go round, horsie rides and the arcade where kids could spend countless hours and dollars hanging out IN PERSON. So sad. This is where the liberals running our land have brought us. So sad for our children and...
Read moreNVP has a variety of stores, my favorite is the 99 Cent Only Store which has a lot of cheap stuff and a good vegan grocery selection. There's also Trader Joe's, Dollar Tree, the movie theatre, restaurants, and more. It's very convenient having a lot of stuff all in one place, and Almond Orchard is right across the street which has Grocery Outlet, another good grocery store. There is a lot of vehicle parking but not enough bike parking. There are multiple B-Line bus stops in the area for the 2/7, 3, and 4 bus routes. You can probably find everything you need shopping-wise in North Valley Plaza. It can also be good place to meet people or go on a date when it is...
