okay WEIRDEST experience of my life, burger king has a right to refuse service and they did! i was at the drive through with no line and one person at the window, i have been on a “fast food veggie burger” kick seeing which fast food place has the best burger and burger king was my next stop. when i was speaking my order to them the manager with a o so chipper voice caught an attitude very quickly because i spoke my order in to fast, i asked for the veggie burger with no tomato, extra lettuce and if possible the burger to be well done (i have noticed in the past veggie burgers need to be well done) i sat for a minute and there was no talking so i drove forward expecting them to have taken my order down after waiting for the car previously at the window to get there food i pulled up and the manager with the chipper voice but rude tone said to me i couldn’t not get your order because you were talking too fast and we then repeated what we wanted again no problem we were just in the car giggling at his manner, the young girl behind him that was working was snickering to herself as well she knew he caught an attitude... he walked to the back to get our food and the young girl proceeded with checking us out she was still hiding her giggles at his attitude.... then i make a joke to her “ make sure he doesn’t spit in our food” and then she giggled again and said i got you with a smirk on her face she turned around and shut the window i noticed she was smiling and telling him something about spitting in the food i thought to myself oh goooooddd she’s telling him to not spit in the food and the manager came around the corner so quick to tell us that he was refunding us our money and refusing our service and that he was a mangager for a reason and wouldn’t spit in our food just because we had to repeat our order! we were just a little taken aback we were laughing the whole time about it but obviously manger over here is having a power trip at...
Read moreBurger King is now making ordering mandatory at the self-serve kiosk. When I refused initially, the sales associate refused to take my order at the cash register and I left without making a food purchase. When I returned another day, the same thing happened, except the sales associate took my order at the kiosk. I refused to use the kiosk. When I confronted the BK Regional Manager who was watching, I told her the self serve is a negative game-changer and that I would stop eating at Burger King. She had absolutely nothing to say and did not respond only to tell me to have a great day in a very patronizing and disrespectful tone. The one and only time I used the kiosk, I ordered an ice cream cone only to find out 20 minutes later that the ice cream machine was broken and my order was a waster of time. It took another 5 minutes to have the purchase corrected. I will now eat at Wendy's and Del Taco where a courteous sales associate greets you and takes your order personally and makes you feel like a very valuable customer.

Read moreI want to update review because Marcus , the manager in charge, helped me rectify the situation. I feel like it was a learning experience for the employee who handled my initial order. Nobody likes to feel ripped off and I truly believe the person in charge of this Burger King wanted to right the situation. He cared that my experience wasn't up to par. Yes, we use fast food to get fed fast. Yes, we expect to be charged for that convenience but ultimately an establishment like this is dependent on customers feeling like the experience as a whole was proper. There are numerous places a person can go to get food fast and every customer should (potentially)be a repeat customer. I will gladly return here when in the area and forget the sour experience I had in the past. Thank you. Shout out to Marcus on Notre Dame and Anthony on 2nd Ave. ( another Burger King manager} I hope your bosses read this and know you both acted in a respectable manner, representing the company in a positive way.
