So my Dad went in to buy an airplane 2 days ago. 6-12-2024. His total was 1100 for the airplane and the battery charger and remote. They couldn't find the airplane made my dad wait 45 mins to say we would need to call you. This should have been the first red flag. Second red flag all the reviews. 3rd red flag went in today, 6-14-2024, with a friend cause he wanted a new boat. Found the boat we wanted and waited 45 mins for them not to even send someone to go find the boat. They had a girl and 2 other guys working. They need to figure out their customer service. Worst place to go to in all of California. dont waste your time here. Big dude behind counter never even moves from his chair, he is the reason for the mass amount of bad reviews and complaints, he must be an owner cause if any owner read the reviews and seen his customer service he should be fired. Lost about 1600 in sales in 2 days from one customer. And that's just the beginning of the hobby, any one that is into the hobby knows you will be back for parts upgrades and to use the track. Well, not ever would anyone want to come to this store. It's easier to shop amazon and easier returns. I hope more people review this company they need to figure out their management and re hire. Read moreThese giys are cool and all but they need to have more knowlege on parts I drove 1 hour to get a proline diff that he claimed would fit my stock 2wd rustler and a diff for my pro sc 4x4 He said it would be in within a couple weeks and he wil call me So i wait and wait and wait ..i called on the 3rd week he said no theyre not in yet so i waited 2 months and i called yes your parts just got here! I asked " both my rustler and sc4x4 diffs?" He said yes ! so i drive an hour to get there to find out he only had my proline diff. So i said whatever it was just a mistake at least i got one of the. Diffs Well i waited til my stock diff blew out which just blew out 2 days ago so i open up the package and assemble the diff. Its got slack in it so Comes to find out he didnt order me the gaskets that are required to keep the diff fluid in so i went out and found all the gaskets took me all day ! So i stop at the redding rc shop get diff fluid and put it all together ..i go to install the diff and it doesnt fit It says on the package " for proline transmissions" At this very moment ive had it with these guys They wasted 3 months of my time I should have just ordered the HR diff off ebay and been back on the road within...
Read moreI've had the displeasure of having to frequent the only r/c hobby store in Chico, Ca. now for the past several years. Recently their overall service to customers has taken a STEEP decline.. After receiving a gift from family for my son in the form of an r/c car (made overseas) that needed eventual repairs, they flat out refused to work on it calling it all kinds of names ("knock off", "cheap parts", etc) even for standard cosmetic parts that are Obviously accessible. During the same encounter, I had questions about what model airplane kits they might carry. I was referred, literally, to the computer attached to their register to look at their "online inventory" while the only salesman on the floor briskly ended our conversation since he, "had to go to lunch"... (& this was only a recent experience in this store). I will Never be back. A tank of gas into a nearby bigger city is worth seeing if other stores remember how to treat customers who A.) Don't shop competitively online, & B.) Bother to visit their store in the 1st place.
