The Chico Taproom — Restaurant in Chico

Sitting here tonight, I realized that I've never reviewed this place. It's my favorite taphouse ANYWHERE. Reasons.... variety. Always changing, and the knowledge of the staff amazes me. They can talked about the breweries and what they offer, with an uncanny knowledge of what would work for YOU. Reason two. Pleasant staff that remembers who you are and what you drink/like. We live 60 miles away, and only can drop in six to eight times a year, and the staff is so kind. Atmosphere. This is not a Chico frat bar. This place is great. The beers on tap are amazing. They have an app called DigitalPour in which you can see if your favorite beers are still on tap, the price, and how much of the keg is available. The staff are super great and really friendly.

One of the other really cools things about this place, (aside from the ping pong table and giant jenga set in the back), is that you can bring in whatever food you want as they don't have a food license so you're welcome to bring in anything.

This place is great for a casual and chill meetup with friends or an after work beer. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Awesome local owned hangout spot outside the craziness of downtown. Great laid back vide, cool employees, awesome rotating selection of craft beer. Ciders, sours, wine, IPAs, stouts, ales, lagers, and more… they have it all. Fun game room in the back with board games, Giant Jenga, and many other games. No food, but you can order from several spots near by and bring it to the taproom to eat while you drink. Cute patio out front and sometimes there is live music on Fridays...
