Nice atmosphere, awful service. this place has a great atmosphere but the wrong bartenders. A couple of old grumpy ladies are just there to hang out with their friends. Zero capability of managing conversation with regulars While pouring a drink for a customer waiting. Common basic bartending skills are lacking. I went there two nights in a row, the first night the old lady bartending doesn’t know how to pour a drink. I was getting a one count pour for my drink that was five dollars, and the drink that was supposed to be a double she put just about one full shot. She was friendly but more interested in chatting it up with all the regulars and didn’t even notice whenever we need a refill. We left because our drinks didn’t have anything in them and it wasn’t worth the money. The second night we tried again hoping for a different bartender. Another other woman it was kind of rude. I explained what happened to before and this time she made sure our drinks were made right but didn’t do it without an attitude. We had four drinks, and every time I drink with MJ we waited 10 minutes while she sat there and talk to her friends the whole time, then completely walked past us to greet another regulars that came into the bar that she knew and talked with him for a while and got his drink first and then made her way over to us. This happened several times where we were waiting forever for a drink. The last time was when we ordered our final drain because we had to head out in 15 minutes and she kept talking it up with her friends, we finally ordered and then she went and tended to somebody else and their shot order and then someone else came up to the bar and she got their drinks so we waited 15 minutes and she still didn’t pour a drink even though we ordered so we just left. Horrible horrible service. Get more tentative bartenders, I love regulars and I think the people in this place are great but everybody should be paid attention to. Learn to freaking talk to people and still pour a drink at the same time it’s called...
Read moreThis place is a dive but it's very very fun and active. It's cash only but there's an atm inside. Kareoke on Friday draws a huge crowd and the entire bar gets into it if you're tired of singing to a dead room. People aren't too shy and actually dance and sing. Full feature length movies play on the tv screen which was kinda cool we watched Jurassic World and had pizza. It was a really fun night. There's no food as far as I know, only drinks. But we were allowed to order a pizza from an outside vendor which was cool of them. I hear that normally there is actually a food truck that comes to the parking lot. Overall, great experience. Everyone here was super friendly and I felt safe. It's very loud, hope...
Read moreGreat bartenders, great drinks, great prices. Was just very disappointed in the Karaoke and that’s what they’re known for. Personally ran Karaoke gigs in Charlotte, NC for years. Very nice DJ but horrible sound quality, not the best version of songs and horrible rotation management of singers. They draw a fantastic Saturday crowd of regulars but with how they operate, tough to come back again as a first timer. However, it seems to be working for them with their regulars and I’m glad they pull the crowds they do for the weekend. If you’re a hardcore Karaoke person looking for a new spot, maybe not the spot for you. But always fun to sing in front of a...
