Horribly disappointed in my local chic fil a 😔
Never thought I'd have such an awful experience I'd want to write a bad review but chic fil a has been my favorite fast food place for the last 8/9 years and our local chic fil a here in Chino has been awesome up until recently where it seems they are under new management or something.
Last week I had family over for my daughter's Quincenera and we called an audible for some Chic. Placed a $70 order which my little brother picked up and when he returned our order was missing 2 large fries and my sons deluxe sandwich. We drove immediately to the location where Berta eventually came out to argue with us because we didn't have the receipt. We explained we didn't get one and we were just here 15 minutes ago where I also showed her my online order. While still arguing over the receipt she proceeds to start touching on my phone as if she's going to find something different. Stepping back I had to explain further we didn't get one but I had my online receipt for the order we just placed and we just got our order 15 minites ago. Eventually they prepped the food, we never got an apology or gesture for the inconvenience or mistake.
To make it worse, I called the store about this experience with Berta and never got a call back.
Last night my wife and I ordered some food at 9:41pm. Order went through and says go into drive through line. We drive a few minutes from our house and arrive at 9:48 to Marcella or whoever blocking the drive through and barking orders at the workers. She literally ignored us sitting there and so after yelling at her hey, were here for our food, she comes over saying oh I already closed the line and machines, there's nothing we can do. The store closes at 10! I know I know but they are off. So she basically said you can F yourself and I don't care. Time and energy wasted when the place says it closes at 10 and we ordered twenty minutes prior. To make matters worse there were still people in the drive through line as we left and saw the other side of the building.
In the past, If there were issues and we called, they'd call back. Never before has a chic fil a person argued with me in the middle of the store, BERTA. And I have never seen such poor apathetic management at any of their stores till Marcella. Is this a McDonald's??? 🤦♂️ I'm a platinum member cause I spend money on this business, I'm not cheap, petty or a scammer and service like this isn't okay....
Read moreTo each their own. I've had better experiences at Chick-fil-A's in other states. I've also had better experiences at other Chick-fil-A's in this state like Costa Mesa, Hollywood, Irvine,(which are blended areas) but I had better services in racist iffy areas like Barstow and Bakersfield...but this Chick-fil-A here in the Chino area has people working there that are covert racists and it shows. I given them a chance on a 3 occasions to see if they were just having a bad day and it's really the work culture of this particular Chick-fil-A. I know it's a matter of Blk percentage. If you're mixed you get better service. I've witnessed it on 3 occasions. This last time it was blatant. We all arrived together and ordered separately, the one of us that looked more mixed had no issues. But his brother who appears to not look as mixed was mistreated and not given his full order she faked like she took the order, therefore wasting other clientele time. The next time I went and they burn my fries and the drink was awful, but I sent my son to get different fries in the same breath and his fries were perfect. Corporate should investigate, I don't recommend this place at all. I dont true them to not temper with food, especially with covert racism running...
Read moreI don't know what it is about Chick-fil-A but this place is a perfect example of never having enough cashiers to accommodate those in line. There's like 10 or so employees always behind the counter chatting and laughing but no one at the four or so registers. It's always one cashier and 15 employees in the store just milling around. It's almost like they'd rather have you in drive-thru then coming into the store. And, it's every single time I come in. The biggest issue is when somebody places their order then, the cashier that's helping them also has to fill up all of their drinks. So you're waiting for them to order, pay and then get all of their drinks filled. I had two families of four in front of me and it took 12 minutes before I could even place my order. That's not fast when you're on a lunch break. I know I could probably order ahead with the app but I shouldn't have to. I know there's going to be a little bit of a wait but 12 or 15 minutes, that's a bit much when it's slow. At least at the grocery store when there's three or more in line they provide another cashier. Not here. But they should use that format as an example and provide more cashiers when there's three or...
