Pho Mai — Restaurant in Chino Hills

I arrived about 10 mins after opening time. Staff were friendly & welcoming were in the process of cleaning 🧹 saw some trash under the table's so I conclude that the trash may have been there overnight. Staff did have a conversation deciding who to play music on the Bluetooth. Also for a medium bowl only 1 size #9 $13.47 total. I gave $2 tip Food was made quick 3-5min wait Food was delicious eat everything & drank the broth/ juice! There was a lot of pickup orders after I came in and sat down. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Pho Mai in Chino Hills was unacceptable. Shortly after our food arrived, we noticed a hair in the pad thai. Accidents happen, but what made it worse was the way the staff handled it.

When we brought it to their attention, the staff just said sorry. The response felt dismissive.

On top of that, the overall customer service was cold and inattentive. No one checked in on our table after we received our food.

It’s a shame because the restaurant has potential, but cleanliness and respectful service are non-negotiable. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning or recommending...

This review is not about their food. Their food is just average. The lady server seriously needs to work on her attitude. I asked for iced water and she just turned her back, walked away without saying anything, and brought me water. I asked for something else and again she didn't answer, turned her back, and walked away. The server did mention that they were short staffed and apologized for inconvenience. I wouldn't mind waiting and totally understood about their situation but that doesn't mean that she can be rude to customers. You should at least look at the person when someone is...
