Food here is great but the workers are rude. Today(4/15/23) we came in around 10:20 for dine in. We ordered our food, but we're told that it's take out only, that the dine-in is closed. The signs says Dine-in closes at 11pm but they closed it 40mins early. We didn't mind, so we ordered our food and waited. While we were waiting, other guests walked in to order, as the workers saw this, they walked to the doors and locked them so no one else can enter. We get are food and then leave. We check our burgers and turns out they were the wrong burgers. I went to the main entrance and knocked on the door(since it was locked) to get the attention of a worker. The only reason a worker came to the door was because there was a guest that order after us, in there eating dine-in. Which is odd because they said dine-in was closed, but non the less, thank you to the guest that got the older women's attention. The older women opens the door( I assume the manger) and rudely says "What? What's wrong?". I tell her that the burgers were made wrong and hand them to her with the receipt(she rolled her eyes and scoffed), I follow her in and she takes the burgers to the counter and proceeds to man handle them while looking to see where they messed up. Both burgers were supposed to have no pickles, onions, or tomatoes but had everything on them. She asks repeatedly what the order was even though she had the receipt and I told her four different times just to reclarify for her because she kept asking like she forgot. Finally, she hands the properly made burgers and we leave. It's unfortunate how bad the service has gotten here. They used to have a solid group of workers that were friendly and made you feel welcomed....
Read moreIt's been a long time since my last visit to Tommy's. It was a regular hang out for my friends and I. As I got older I would take family and friends here and they enjoyed it every time. I recently saw a special they were having so I decided I would go visit once again. I went there by myself so I figured I would drive through and take it home. This could have been where I messed up. I had always eaten inside their dining room and it was always hot and fresh. Well, I did get it hot and fresh but my drive home was almost 15 minutes away. Big mistake. By the time I got home the food was no longer hot. My experience was not the same as before. I will have to try them again when I have time to eat in the dining room. One bad thing I do have to mention, is that when I was at the drive-up window, I saw the cook drop some, what looked like buns, onto the floor. She was working fast and a few slipped out of her hands as she was taking them out of the package. That was an accident not a crime, but what I don't understand is that she said something to the guy at the window and he picked up what was dropped and put on the table and not in the trash... UPDATE : So of course I had to come back and try it again. This time I made sure I had the time to eat inside. That definitely did the trick. I walked in and saw there was plenty of room to sit down in a safe spot, ( I still like to keep a safe distance from groups of people), I checked out the menu and proceeded to order. To lady was very nice and helpful. I got my food in a few minutes and enjoyed every bite. When I was done I ran across someone else who also originally started coming to Tommy's at the original place. We had...
Read moreI love Tommy’s so I really hate to leave a low review but this location has a couple of issues which I think could easily be fixed. In few words the staff is extremely slow at their jobs and seem quite inefficient. The food took very long to be served especially considering this is a fast food establishment and the team seemed to not know how to work together to be as efficient as their potential would allow. The person the wore light blue (I’m assuming a manager/cook bc he was the only one in that color) seems to not really know nor understand his position or job which seems to be negatively effecting the entire group because no one not even a higher up knows what they’re doing. These are very simple issue that can be fixed within a DAY with just a bit of extra training which I don’t know why this is an issue jn first place. I believe owners of not only this establishment but other fast food places are to blame for hiring what seems like inexperienced staff throwing them into a new work environment with likely zero training and expecting them to “just do the work”. Poor kids need better training and even the...
