Owen's Italiano (Secret Sammich) — Restaurant in Chino

I can’t believe we haven’t been here sooner! I’ve always walked by this Italian cafe looking places but never took the time to stop in, and boy am I glad we ordered dinner there.

Tony welcomed us as soon as we walked in and took care of us for our to-go order. He was so awesome and friendly to work with, and is definitely a reason why we’d come back. Five stars for service.

We ordered two cold sandwiches including the Paulie Walnuts (with turkey instead of chicken), the Italian Job and a Cherry Cheesecake. Everything was solid and super tasty. I plan to request my cold sandwich to be toasted next time since I prefer my bread to be toasty, but my husband loved the bread the way it was.

The cherry cheesecake surprised me the most because I was expecting something super dense and overly sweet, but it was not too sweet.. light, and frankly, just right! We will definitely be back and would like to dine in...

This place is a hidden gem, so excited to come back already.

Each dish we ordered was amazing, you could taste the quality and freshness in each dish. We ordered a side salad with the Orechiette pasta and those two alone were delicious. The homemade croutons and the salad dressing were so good. The Orechiette pasta had the right bite and the flavors were so memorable.

We also ordered the Italian chicken melt sandwich, that was delicious as well. The marinara was so delicious, it was the perfect balance.

For our toddler, we ordered butter spaghetti with cheese. Even that tasted delicious and I shared with him.

We came for lunch and we will have to stop by again for dinner one day, the menu is different for dinner. Overall we had an amazing experience and we will be back...

Been eating here for a little over a year. Usually get the boss burger now know as the royale. Flavors are still great but this last time we order it the patties were small and thick compared to a patty similar to a smash patty. I personally like the smashed patty better cause the ratio of meat to bun and other ingredients was way better. But again food is great just like the smashed patties better. Still highly...
