Our wedding day was one of the most important days of our lives, and unfortunately, our experience with this venue and its management left much to be desired. From the beginning, communication with the owner was inconsistent and frustrating. Details we were given during the booking process—such as arrival times for getting ready—were later changed or forgotten entirely.
We booked the bridal suite specifically to use it to get ready on the morning of our wedding, which is standard, but the owner later tried to adjust the timing we had originally agreed upon. The day before the wedding, we were told we could drop off our décor and supplies, only to arrive and find another event taking place. We were instructed to leave our items on the patio with the assurance they would be brought inside—but when we arrived at 10 a.m. the next day, many of our items were still left outside, unattended.
Upon entering the venue, we were shocked at the condition it was left in from the previous event. The space was dirty, the floors hadn’t been cleaned, and that events belongings were still scattered around the venue. Even worse, there was vomit on the concrete outside, which we had to specifically request to be power washed before our event began. This level of oversight was not only unprofessional, it was deeply disrespectful to us on such an important day.
While getting ready in the bridal suite, the owner entered the room without knocking or checking to see if it was appropriate to do so. This was incredibly uncomfortable and completely inappropriate, especially since we were getting dressed and could have been unclothed.
We booked the venue for 6 hours, yet about an hour before our contracted time was up, the staff began putting chairs on tables and clearing the room. This made not only us but our guests feel rushed and unwelcome, as if we were being pushed out of our own wedding.
While the venue itself has potential, the lack of professionalism and poor management made for an unnecessarily stressful experience. We share this review not out of spite, but in hopes that others looking for a venue will be fully informed before choosing this location. Sadly, we...
Read moreI suggest you do a good research If you are planning on having your event at this place. My daughter just held an event here and the owner is very uncooperative and inconsistent. He provided us with a map of how the tables were going to be set the day of the event for the sitting chart, come to find out he omitted a whole row of tables, the map did not match the set up, the staff had to set up as our guests were waiting, standing for the tables to be done. The staff were not provided with the map, I felt bad for them, they were doing what they could, but I could tell there was no communication between them. Additionally, he promised a “ticket” system for the bar, in the end, 10 minutes before the bride was going to walk down the isle he insisted that we should do a “tally” system instead which in my opinion was not very helpful since there was no way for us to control the number of drinks served, causing my daughter to stress and agree to his suggestion. A lot of other minor issues happened that are not worth mentioning but I strongly suggest to look elsewhere first. We were VERY unhappy with how the handled...
Read moreTopo's Restaurant Bar & Banquet Facility was the perfect venue for our intimate microwedding. From the very first interaction, the team was open, detailed, and honest in their communication, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. Jorge, our event coordinator, was such a great support and made sure everything was perfectly executed on the day. The quality of their work and value was exceptional - the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made our day that much easier. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend Topo's to any couple looking for a great value and memorable wedding...
